I live in UK, but I am originally from Venice, so imagine my excitement when I heard of this restaurant.

Food is great and authentic. And if it's authenticity that you are after, invest on a flight and go to Venice: it still might work out cheaper!!!

After reading Michael Winners excellent review we decided to give it a go.

I went on saturday with my Venetian fiancee and we were not disappointed. The food was very authentic veneto fayre including, melt in your mouth carpaccio, salt cod, and fantastic calves liver. Service was immaculate, more so from the junior staff than the senior ones. Bread superb and we had an excellent wine. One strange occurence was the appearance of Jacobs cheese selection biscuits with the cheese! I could not work out whether they had run out of something or genuiniely believe Jacobs to have the best cheese biscuits. Anyway cheeses were excellent and, for once, portions large. We had two excellent grappas (one round on the house!)each and then they even delivered us a full lunar ecclipse in Central London. Now that is service. Excellent. Not cheap, but worth it!

Outstanding. The best olives I have ever tried. The food was amazing and not over priced. Excellent service by smiling lovely staff. I will definitely come back - again and again. This will be one of my favourite London restaurants. Love it!

I booked out the whole restaurant for our company Christmas lunch in Dec 2006 and it was fantastic! Simon Piovesan, one of the proprietors, was polite, enthusiastic and extremely helpful. The service was friendly, professional and efficient and the food was excellent. One of the best meals I've had since arriving in this country 2 years ago. People are still coming up to me and raving about their food and overall experience. I simply cannot fault it in any way and I'm notorious for sending food back and complaining about poor service!
