We went there last month, but it was a total disaster. 20 minutes after our arrival we had not been served with any drink or food other than non ordered pappodoms. When we enquired, waiter came and took the order. It took 30min to get drinks. My wife went searching for waiter and demamded for the starter. We waited another 30 min for starter. When we asked for manager, the chef came to see us. He apologized to us, saying sorry again and again like a crying baby. Really annoying. After a while the manager showed up with some weak apologies like the staffs are new.

We asked for the bill, expected discount, but we were surprised to see they even charged for pappodoms. When we asked the manager, he argued its written on the menu and we could not be bothered arguing with such a shameless staffs there. We paid simply to get out of there as was getting late.

We will not be going there anymore.

Just ate here and I was really overwhelmed with how friendly the staff were, we told them the flavours we liked and they made us an outstanding meal. Truly excellent, it breaks my heart that it always looks empty when I walk past, especially as it isnt too pricey.

10 out of 10 for service and 8 for the food, it would have been 9 but my husband wasnt keep on his dish. Mine was a 10!

When my flatmate asked me if I wanted to try Kerala Zone I thought- great, a new place to have curry in Greenwich. 2 hours later I wished I hadn't bothered!

We ordered takeway at 6.45 and were told it would be 45 minutes. An hour later we called and we were told "5 minutes" 15 minutes later we called, and were again told "5 minutes". After 2 hours of waiting our food finally arrived, cold.

They were not the least bit apologetic and despite our having had our order repeated they forgot one of the main courses.

Never ever again! It was simply not worth waiting for.

Much better food and service at certain other Indian restaurants in central greenwich close to the Cutty Sark.
