15 of us ate at the scene nice location.. But that is what your paying for average food good selection. Only problem is service is very bad. This was arranged two weeks before we found some eating and finishing while others were still without... Don't have cheese cake it's frozen. They'll microwave it hot for you though!!!

Just to five you an example bill was £539. Not worth it

Nice food but very overpriced. Customer service is very poor which does not make for the best evening.

Seriously, what a waste of an evening. Other than the music, this place doesn't deserve to be serving the public. The food I wouldn't feed to my dog. Cold chicken curry, rubbery texture, cold rice. No roti chicken, even though its advertised. Service was beyond pathetic. Seriously, we were waiting 20 minutes for drinks when we where only one of three people in the venue. My son was gagging for water,as his meal was too spicy, the waitress forgot I'd asked for another water for him.

Never would I visit again, infact. I'd rather starve than eat at this place again.

Here's hoping it goes bust. Shame on Caribbean Scene.

Really bad service, food was mediocre and overly priced. I can cook better then what I got served. Staff looked like they did not want to be there (I mean who hires people like that). I got left waiting for ages and it was not even busy, staff did not smile and were very unhelpful. They should have paid me service charge for serving my self. We needed a good Caribbean restaurant in London but I’m afraid a wasted opportunity. I did really like the actual restaurant with its décor. Sorry but around £17 for chicken, what a joke.

Tips for the owner unless you have already gone bust: Replace your staff with people who smile and know what good customer service is. Reduce prices, your food should not be more then £12. Improve food.

First of all it is reassuring and encouraging to find a West Indian Restaurant offering the selection of food that you do with the buffet option as well and the service. These types of restaurants are very few and far between and I am pleased that we took the time out to experience your restaurant. The atmosphere and ambiance was familiar to or what should be a typical Caribbean restaurant with good music playing in the background - a tad loud at times seeing as you were there to eat, but nonetheless quite enjoyable. The waiters interaction with the diners gave the impression that it was a family run business and everyone worked well together. I enjoyed the way you handled clients birthdays offering them a cake and playing a special birthday tune, and encouraging them to have a dance with the waiter. Not suited for all, but for those that participated I could see that it was well received.

My evening was especially enjoyed as we were served by the waitress called Sofia. Sofia was a very pleasant young lady who was very attentive, professional and clearly enjoyed her job. The restaurant was very full, and Sofia was very busy, but at no time did you feel uneasy requesting anything from her in fact she was only too pleased to assist. Her people skills were her asset, together with her passion for delivering good service. Please pass on my thanks to Sofia for her good service and in ensuring that we become a repeat client. (If Sofia needs to be reminded of who she served then let her know it was lady who dined with her husband who she liked her hair, nails and jewellery - she has a good eye).

All in all a good time was had by my husband and I and we will defintely recommend your restaurant to our friends and family.

This place is rubbish. I visited this place on 18th Dec 2010 and had booked a table for 7 people a month earlier and had pre ordered the food from the xmas menu about 2 weeks earlier. We arrived and we were seated but waited 20 minutes for the waitress to take our drinks order. We all ordered cocktails and one of the cocktails had to be sent back because it had no alcohol. 40 minutes later our starters finally arrived which was really nice but that was the end of it. The mains finally arrived which consisted of curry goat, oxtail and lobster. The curry goat was truly disgusting. It tasted watery, the oxtail consisted of hard bits and soft bits. I think it consisted of a mixture of the previous evenings food and a fresh supply which if that was the case is unacceptable. The lobster was the only thing that was half decent although slightly overdone. The roast potatoes that had been pre ordered did not arrive nor did the seasonal vegetables. Anyway we had finshed our food and it took the staff 40 minutes to finally clear our table but this was only due to the fact that I had to ask them twice to clear the table, the second time I went to ask for the table to be cleared I was so annoyed and asked for the bill to be printed and the the desserts to be packed as we had waited for over two and a half hours for two courses and were not going to wait any longer. The chef came over and apologised and said that he was un aware that our party were coming, which is strange bearing in mind the waiter had the preorder and I had received numerous emails relating to the order. The manager walked in at that time and heard our complaint but to our surprise did not say anything. I was shocked, no customer service. Do not go unless you want to be really disappointed. The only good thing about this place is that the location is nice. In the summer it will be lovely. Do not waste your money.

.I have been to restaurants that I have had bad service but this was absolutly disgusting..firstly i called to make a reservation @7:30 but was told that we could not be accomidated till 8:30 that was fine i accepted the booking. when we arrived we were told to wait in the bar as out table was not ready, we waited till about 25 mins. This dinner was for my (pregnant) cousins birthday Once we were seated someone came to take our order he was not the most helpful waiter but our order was taken. we waited about 40mins then we called the waiter who told us that they had misplaced our order and our starters were gonna be @least another 15min, after waiting another 15 mins we called the manager, who was surprisingly rude and uncaring, he proceeded to tell us that there was a large booking that had booked 2 weeks ago and that we should not have been booked in the first place!! you can imagine the disgust that we felt @ this comment as it was him who had taken my booking in the first place. He then went on to make excuses and was not apologetic in the slightest when we told him that his waiter had already told us that they had lost our order he looked embarrased just told us that it was coming an walked away. This guy is the worst manager ever. We then waited till about 10:45 when the waiter came back and said that he was gonna just bring everything together we told him we wanted our staretrs, you would think that the servive could not get any worse! well it did, he bought our food in a mish mash of starters and mains, he bought oxtail no rice! some starters then side dishes by the time i received my starter my main had been sitting for 10min with no rice@ last min the manager tried to ask us if he could give us a bottle of wine we declined, told him of our disgust.I will never eat there again we only paid for our drinks much to his protest but the whole experience was awful. worst customer service and attitude manager was very rude.

Its was the worst place I have ever been to. I have jerk chicken all the time, as I have allot of Jamaican friends. I was served burnt chicken not jerk chicken - the jerk sauce was very bland and seems as though no effort went into the cooking!

My friend ordered a steak and it was the smallest piece of meat I have ever seen for £20!!!

The waiters did not make us feel comfortable and watched over us constantly as we ate the food. I think many of the review below are probably fake and by the owners!

DO NOT EAT HERE! WASTE OF MONEY AND RUBBISH EXPERIENCE!

I had a lovely visit to this restaurant yesterday, we decided to visit it aftrer having a good time at the stratford branch and was given a 2-4-1 voucher for this branch.

the service and the food was brilliant but we couldnt use the voucher as its not valid on weekends. as a result we spent more money than planned, however it was good value for money. the dessert, malibu cheesecake was fab.

I had the vegetarian aubergine with mango sauce and coconut sauce, and my frined had the vegetarian bean stew. both dishes were brilliant, and we would have them again. the view was fantastic and the restaurant quite relaxing. brilliant music. it feels really homely.
