Moose
our review
The 'Whistler-style' ski lodge themed bar near Bond Street has reopened. There's a Champagne and cocktail bar on the ground floor, a hidden play room and a basement lounge that hosts bright young DJs after dark. The outside tables are good for people watching in the sunshine and the bar serves light bites if you need to soak up the fizz.

Horrendous... Hideous... Horrible!
The staff were rude; the service was terrible (I waited forever for the drinks I ordered); the drinks over-priced (even for that part of town); and the place was filthy (I won't talk about the loos, even before the night really got started).
No doubt about it: I'm never going to Moose again.

My lovely new colleagues took me here a few weeks before it closed for refurbishment. In a convenient location, a short walk off Oxford Street, it has an alpine-feel with a small bar and seating upstairs and a more spacious area downstairs with large bar and plenty of room for dancing. Crowd an odd mix between happily ecclectic / post-work / west-end show-pony, but largely refreshingly unpretentious for a west end night spot.
