Where shall I start?.....Decor is as you would expect for a restaurant in the west end...not amazing but not poor either. The food is good and the best dish we saw was the tuna steak, but I think this is the only good thing about the place.
Service was poor....the waitress ticked me off for pouring the red wine for my friends.....whats that all about?.....The espresso is too bitter....the chefs drop plates in the kitchen which is quite close to you and so it's just a little bit too noisy and WORST OF ALL......they dont have Grappa and the waiter reacts like its not unusual to not stock Grappa...
Actually, I forgot...the highlight of the evening is when they presented us with the wrong bill! £20 out to be exact
These fellas need to do some work........

I've had better Italian served at a Travel Lodge pub in Yorkshire. The food is very average, save a few pounds and stick with a chain if that your bag.
Ask your self why was it so hard to find Charlotte Place on the 'A-Z' and also why good reviews are hard to come by.....

A delightful family run restaurant. Warm welcome and proper Italian food. Not a Pizza in sight ! Bread and ratatouille type salsa arrived promptly on the table to nibble whilst the food was being prepared. Both seafood dishes were superb, one prawns with rice and the other seafood spaghetti. Tiramisu and Affrogato sweets were lovely, but starve yourself for a fortnight if you want to get this far, because the servings are quite large. Prices - depends what you have, but budget around £30 / head for an evening meal.
The ambiance is superb and very Italian. Recommend booking - there are is an outside seating area and two smallish dining areas inside, one of which is in the basement.
