Went there on Thursday evening and took advantage of the 50% food offer. Had the chicken liver terrine which wasn't my cup of tea. The seafood risotto was full of flavour but not amazing and the chocolate fondant with coconut ice cream superb. My guest had the truffle soup, one of the pasta dishes and the tiramisu all of which she said were delicious.
The atmosphere and decor of the place was classy and comfortable and the service very good.
With a bottle of wine and the 50% offer the meal worked out at about £30 per head including service which was good value. However I'm not sure that the food, despite the attractiveness of its presentation, was tasty enough for me to have forked out another £35 on it.

Went there last Friday evening. Lovely atmosphere, shame about the duck liver and crudeness of the lamb shank main, but bread and gorgonzola soup excellent. Service was top-class too.

We booked with a 50% off offer. We were given a shorter menu but still with very attractive and unusual contents.
The food was amazing : very tasty and different.
The service was extremely friendly : discreet yet always concerned with our comfort and satisfaction. Good advice on the wine.
The main room gets slightly noisy but there are a few tables downstairs which are more quiet and intimate.

Brera is oddly situated behind Debenhams. As you step into the restaurant you feel you have entered an exclusive milanese restaurant. The focus point is the central bar and the decor is very tasteful elegant glamour. I think a shy premiership footballer or two would be quite at home here. It is very refined and the food is very much a more hit than miss affair. It is overpriced an unfortunate consequence of london dining however this place actually has value. My stuffed chicken main was top notch but fagolini with sweetbreads was strange and oily. Puddings are to die for mmmm zabligone with a maronglace was inventive! I had the chocolate fondant at an eye watering price but certainly a taste sensation to set a benchmark by. However it is greatly refreshing to have good unobtrusive service in a gorgeous ambient setting.
