very nice lounge for private hires ,we had our Christmas party there ,we were up to 40 people, we choose the Christmas menu for everyone ,the oriental lamb served on a bed of rice was superb ,as well as the mixed grills ,

Noura compare to other Lebanese restaurants is one of the best

Well recommended restaurant located in the heart of Curzon Street, we went there to have a quick snack just before the movie in Curzon cinema.

The pre-theatre menu was superb and delicious, we were rushing but we really enjoyed, we definitely go back for proper meal

Nice food, good service clean restaurant and very clean toilets

never had Lebanese food before, we went to this place yesterday evening, lovely experience, very nice food ,the salad with bread (fattouch) was the best salad ever had ,the farrouj meshwi was very fresh and served with garlic sauce ,everyone was surprised how come this sauce was prepared without mayonnaise

Healthy food and good service are enough to make your dinner enjoyable

Well i think what i had was the best ever in a Lebanese restaurant, very nice service, fantastic food, average prices compare to other restaurants in the area,

Warm welcome and everything was terrific, the live music and the dancing show gave a nice touch to the ambiance and made the atmosphere colourful

We will go back when visiting London

Food was average.. agree with a previous reviewer who said the menu was limited to minced lamb, chicken and aubergine. My grilled chicken and lamb was of poor quality meat wise (skin left on the chicken, fatting bits etc) tasted okay but pricey considering there was nothing else on the plate and it was the same price as a decent steak.

I definitely wouldn't come here again. Too pricey for what you get and a lack of variety. They add a 15% service charge which considering the attitude of the waiter was a bit of a joke.

I went to Noura with a group of friends last night in Mayfair.

On the way I passed a few different restaurants that looked great and to be honest, I wish I'd gone in one of them instead of Noura...

When I arrived the place was tiny and unimpressive. We had booked a table for 14 upstairs as the downstairs seating was far too expensive. This restaurant did not look like it belonged in Mayfair, there was no bar, apart from a small table with some bottles on and none of the chairs matched.

Once we had all been seated the waiters stood and watched and interrupted several times, we had no time to pick what we wanted and the head waiter was very pushy and insistant that we chose the "light menu" at £30 a head. None of us wanted starters as we are all light eaters so we had to be quite firm that we just wanted a main course. It took the waiter 20 minutes to take our order, no drinks were offered and I when I asked if we could order drinks, the reply was "Order your food first". I was quite thirsty when I arrived and I was quite annoyed with having to wait.

The menu offered nothng but lamb, cheese and aubergine. The only other thing was "chicken on skewers" so I opted for rice and green beans. Everyone else got a mixed grill and when we enquired about what came with the dish the waiter looked terribly put out and laughed "side orders are extra", so my party ordered some side vegetables (which were bascially undercooked carrots on a saucer) and french fries (which were £4.50!!).

Everything was luke-warm and the waiter got several orders wrong, so we sent them back and had to asked twice for them when a few of our group sat hungry for 15 minutes while everyone else was eating. The waiters even put food down in front of a seat that no one was sitting in and charged us for it, even though we told them that we hadn't ordered it.

Apart from all that, the cheapest drink was £8, the waiters addressed all the women as "lady", which I found to be very uncouth and the for the small portions and avereageness of the flavour the price was much to high, considering that what you are getting is basically a very expensive kebab.

A few of the group decided to order desserts and most of them went uneaten as they ranged from tasting a bit like sugar to tasting a lot like goat.

The bill came to over £400 and for what we ordered it was completely over the top, considering that only myself and one other person had one alcoholic drink.

I would recommend Noura if you have no palate, like rude waiters and have money to burn.
