Yumenoki

We live locally and often went to Yumenoki, until last night's experience. How things changed - our starters arrived after our main courses, which were so tiny we had to order twice. The rice too came after we finished main dishes. The waitress was very sweet but kept saying she wasn't Japanese and kept getting things wrong. The food tasted wonderful but by the end of it all we were very annoyed and to finish it all our bill doubled all our drinks. The person next to us also complained of 'double counting'. No apology followed and we left hugely deflated having paid a top price, even for the area. Having such good choice of food and competition nearby this place really needs to step up its honesty game in order to survive.

My family and I are regular patrons of Yumenoki.
I recently went to the restaurant with family. Love the atmosphere, unassuming, modern with a bright clean feel. We enjoyed the simple but estatically pleasing presentation of the sushi dishes. The chicken yakisoba was aromatic and mouth watering on arrival! The yakitori was my favorite dish. My wife had the udon noodles - superb taste. My son had the tempura prawns, what crispiness! I can't really fault this restaurant on food and service. Thumbs up all the way! I even recommended my bank manager!
