I have been a customer at Aya for a very long time and they have always been excellent !! Great customer service and very friendly staff. Food is top standard all the time.

I celebrated 2 of my birthdays and valentines day at Aya and both times were great and would definitely go again ! on valentines they had a romantic setting and a belly dancer, always to great standards.

If you haven't been to Aya I can't recommend it enough, by far my favourite restaurant.

Starters were good, mains had no flavour, baklava was delicious, service from staff:very warm and welcoming! until the bill came we were being over charged for 2 extra people on a set menu £20 per head, the owner completley unprofessional and said she would not refund the extra £40 as we ate the food, then started asking her staff for the money from their own pockets as they should have counted the people?? then said she would refund £20 instead of £40!!!! then walked away and would not talk to us again, we also paid £40 for service charge which we now regret.

first dicovered aya throught a take away menu delivered through my door. as a family we ordered take aways from there a few times and the food was wonderful, untill one time when they delivered the wrong thing and were extremely rude on the phone shouting and swearing at me.

we boycotted aya for a while in protest but the amazing food called us back. we havnt ordered a take away from there since but have been into the resurant many times and never had any problems with rude staff or poor service, the food is much much better cooked fresh in the resturant anyway.

i havent seen the rude member of staff that treated us so badly since visiting the resturant.

the decor and atmosphere is traditional and uplifting and the small garden is the perfect place to spend and afternoon or early evening eating amazing food and enjoying a shisha pipe.

Aya is a nice change from the usual italian or french. if you like lebanese food this place is a must!

this is the best restaurant in Wimbledon, honestly i can't sell it enough, i have loved every night i have been there, and whenever i have friends staying i bring them here. It is a wonderful familry run business that truly cares about the quality of food and quality of service, i know i am local but honestly make the effort come here, it is amazing.....

We went on Sunday with some friends and we had 2 of the Aya set meals c.£32 per couple. The food arrived quickly and was beautifully cooked, the service was fast, friendly and non-obtrusive and the fact you can bring you own alcohol made the the bill very reasonable!

Having had the meal another good thing is coffee is included with desert/sweets.

I left feeling full, almost to bursting and felt that way on Monday too!

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves Lebanese food

Driven past many times; called in late one evening and it was packed - they found us a table just next to the big grill area so you could see all the action! Went for the set meal which was good value at £31 for two - loads of different starters, and main course of amazingly delicious skewers of chicken and lamb. Nice usual deserts and ask for the Lebanese coffee! Buy your beers from the Tescos garage across the road - bargain! Definitely will be a regular from now on.

went to Aya two times , the first one was very good we were happy and go again last night , it was disappointing .Problems are

--Food under cooked and we asked to cook again

--We ordered aya meal deal and they didn't bring 1 or 2 starters which is part of the meal. didn't notice it while eating

--coffee and dessert are part of the meal but waited for 10 mins for them but later asked the waitress about them , they said we need explicitly order it , didn't understand why if it is part of the meal . you can ask "when would you like them" to customer

--the dessert is the one where you can find in corner shop. it is not prepared in house. Why I pay expensive bill for something you can find around the corner

so there won't be third time didn't see professionally running a place

Aya is everybody's favourite restaurant in South Wimbledon with great food. It's a slight leap of faith to go to that part of Wimbledon surrounded by takeaways and Tesco Metros but once through the door you get fantastically friendly staff and great, fresh, delicious food. Bringing your own wine keeps the bill down and is more fun. The place has a fabulous atmosphere with the whole world in one restaurant, a great reflection of what living in London is all about. We, and everyone we know, love it and go there as much as we can!
