Went for sushi last night but couldn't made up my mind which one to go for, as all of them are excellent ( i love sushi)also met my friend there,she came with her boyfriend, they said they dine here once a week WOW.The service was good, friendly and helpful maybe it's not very busy.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming , i go by myself very often just to have 2-3 dishes.

Thumbs up WOW.

When you see Richard Corrigan a Michelin star chef eating in a restaurant you have to assume the food is great!! And I must say, I am NEVER disappointed. Food is always good. Service can be a little slow on occasions, but I would still recommend WOW to any lover of Japanese food.

Went for dinner on Saturday, the food was fantastic. The sushi and sashimi were very fresh and the grilled food was very tasty. The dishes we had was beautifully presented and we were very impressed.

Really enjoyed ourselves and their price on the menu are very reasonable.

Have eaten in this restaurant many many times and not only have I never had a bad meal I have never had so much as a bad dish!

You have to go a long way or spend a lot more to find a place to beat this Japanese.

Would recommend it to anyone, have done so coutless times and it never lets me down.

Being a local of Crouch End, I try and support local businesses and restaurants as much as possible. I had tried eating at WOW soon after they opened a couple of years ago, but they claimed to be fully booked at the time. In the early evening 25th July and as I could see there were some empty tables, a friend and I tried on the off-chance to get in there again. At the time some of the empty tables had reserved signs on them but a few others did not. We were told by a surly looking waitress, who had the reservations diary in her hands, that they were fully booked for the evening. I pointed out the non-reserved tables and was told that they were all pre-booked. A few minutes later having left and suspecting what the issue might have been, I rang them and asked if they had a table for four people available in about 10-minutes time. I was told that yes, they did have a table available for four people. I asked why I then had I been told only a few minutes earlier that they were fully booked, at which point they hung up. Clearly the complacency of this restaurant is such that they are only interested in taking walk-in business of four people or more and that their policy is to turn away couples or singles. In these difficult financial times, any business that turns away good income deserves to be destined to certain failure. I would recommend everyone to join me in never setting foot in WOW of Crouch End again.

our regular stalwart and has been since it opened. however, complacency has got the better of them. the last 2 meals we've had here have not been up to scratch. luke warm food, smaller than usual portions, tempura batter which would be more suitable to the local fish and chip shop down the road and not to mention the odd one or two bitter faced staff (although we never went for the staff factor as they have always been like that). my husband and I have decided to give it one last chance otherwise we have to find another regular!

We went to wow last wednesday for a girls catch up and it was a great atmosphere, almost full, we manage to catch a table! The service was prompt and helpful since we didn't know much of japanese food. We enjoyed the food very much, specially the aubergine starter. We share a bottle of wine and it all came to £15 a head. Great value for money!
