Vasanta Bhavan provides authentic Indian vegetarian cuisine to the very highest standard. I lived in East Ham for a number of years and never found anywhere else that even came close - though a number of the other curryhouses were indeed very good...

At Vasanta Bhavan the service is very friendly and the chefs are superb...

I have since moved out of the area, but make regular trips back as their food is literally spectacularly good - a whole different league to the kind of watered down curry that is served up in West London - presumably catering to British taste...

Do yourself a favour and tickle your tastebuds at Vasanta Bhavan...!

Have been there many times but never been disappointed. The tea/coffee to start with is refreshing and served in authentic steel glasses. The butter paneer with naan bread is to die for. And obviously my favourite, chana batura, comes out of the kitchen hot and puffed up every single time. The smiling faces of the staff makes the whole experience worth every penny.

When my parents were visiting us in London for the first time, we decided to have our lunch in a south indian restaurant ..where else..but east ham!!! Saravana bhavan was my first choice and we saw the long queue of ppl standing there..

Seemed like we could get through in time only for dinner..so decided to go to vasantha bhavan.

We had our doubts as the place was so empty in contrast to saravana bhavan. But the hunger pangs forced us to choose Vasantha Bhavan . We were really amazed by the quality of food which was served to us so fast. It is really a boon for people with small babies because the food is served in no time :).

The staff were also very friendly and competent.

From then on everytime we visit East ham its "Hello Vasantha Bhavan...here we come :)"

best north indian food I ever eat in UK. And the one of the best over all food on this street. It is unfortunate that the very poor service over shadow the best work of the kitchen. I think they need to work on their people skills that's only bad patch in their sucess. I request the owners to work on this to make your business sucessful
