Both myself and three friends went there for Sunday Lunch. The place look's outdated and sad the table linen was dirty at my friend's side..The cooking staff i noticed did not have uniform's on in the kitchen .The service was rude and unhelpful. The old gentleman who served us as the waiter looked like he needed to retire there and then. The waitress took my first course plate before i had even finished leaving me with a piece of prawn in my hand .

The Sunday Roast looked sad and tasted foul......The worst Sunday Roast on record .At this point i told my friend's i had to leave as my blood was boiling ....As i stood up i told the waitress how discusted i was with the food. She rplied by saying well it is english food you have just eaten ......I then stated i had eaten in many resturant's and the food from this restaurant was totally unaceptable.I then stormed out by saying they needed Gordon Ramsey to drop by.The people on the next table heard this and also agreed.......and walked out as well did my friends when they mentioned about the food.

What a disappointment. Went there for Sunday lunch at 12.30 today. The place is a little twee but looked clean. We were shown to a booth with clean proper tablecloths and all looked well. The menu has a huge range of food from Turkish to curries to roasts. My partner chose buffalo wings and roast beef and I chose garlic bread and fish and chips. We ordered a bottle of pinot grigio to go with it. The first course wasn’t too bad, the garlic bread was nice it the buffalo wings were fairly tasteless. The wine arrived and it was warm, acidic and young, we ended up leaving half the bottle. The mains were dreadful, the fish was frozen ‘costco / makro’ and was deep fried to a state of brittleness. The roast beef was tasteless it was pre bought sliced and the vegetables were disgusting. We saw two people send food back and change their order. The persons running the restaurant seemed quite surly. All in all, we wont be going back. Cost £37.
