I went here two days ago with a group of French students, to show them what "real" English fish and chips are... it was absolutely wonderful. Atmosphere - friendly, and traditional (took me back to golden memories of the 50's and 60's), owner and assistant, helpful, pleasant, efficient, totally unfazed by having 40 people descend on them, food absolutely perfect, price £7 each. We loved it and will come back.

This place is a hidden gem in the hustle and bustle of London town, has to be the best Fish and Chip shop I have ever been to in London. Fresh fish and perfectly cooked ungreasy chips, where else can you eat a decent meal for under £7 in central London?
