The Vintry

We had our Christmas lunch at the Vintry.

Friendly, unstuffy service accompanied a varied menu with decent portion sizes and a high quality (tho' modestly priced) wine list.

The restaurant was in table turning mode but we were escorted to a couple of comfy sofas to finish our digestifs and coffees.

Will definitely return!

I had a very good meal at the vintry; service was good and competent; the food was very interesting: spring onion & grilled scallop risotto, courgette, mint & ewe's milk ricotta ravioli with sundried tomatoes, roast cod with lemon, spinach & olive oil, fantastic calf's liver with pancetta, strawberries with white chocolate and mascarpone mousse. Al the dishes were based on very good quality and fresh ingredients, made in house and competently executed. Very busy at lunch.
