La Caricatura

After reading all the 'rave' reviews about this place, as well as it being on our concierge service's 'hot list', i decided to organise a group of 7 people to go to La Caricatura. What a mistake. Upon being seated, my partner and I were not offered a drink despite the rest of our party having previously ordered. Our 'complimentary champagnes' were nothing but cordial in champagne glasses. Cutlery was not set up correctly and food was served without everyone having a napkin, knife or fork. Although the truffle pizza was nice, I would not recommend it for the £40 price tag. Mains consisted of pizzas and salads, both average in taste. Based on service, I will not be returning to this place nor recommending it.

I wrote in so many times for this restaurant to be added to the London Eating site, it is simply my faovurite in London been going there for 9 months now and the food is always excellent, the best wood burning oven in the UK, zupetta di mare is fantastic and pastas are superb, only in London could such a fine Italian restuarant be in the UK!

This new restaurant is a real surprise, I've been here already 4-5 times and I think they make the the best Italian Pizza in town in a friendly and sophisticated atmosphere. Not the classic fake-Italian Pizzeria everything is genuine and well presented.

And it is not only about Pizza the menu includes a lot of delicious dishes.

I went to the restaurant with aome of my friends and it was absolutely fabulous. This is the best Italian restaurant in town.

Try the aubergine starter if you go here. Will definitely be going here again.

I'm french, so please excuse my english. A few days ago I've been staying a couple of days in London for business and i discovered this very nice typical Italian style restaurant in Mayfair. What a nice time i spent there. I've been eating the cod fish with vegetables and a pistou sauce. Nothing extraordinary i thought, but when i saw the plate coming to me, i had the surprise to discover what a man can do with a piece of fish and some vegetables !!! It was as delicious as it was beautiful ! I went there with two customers of mine the next day and we had a great moment of pure italian gastronomy. Don't hesitate anymore, try this restaurant and you will never forget it !
