eclectic with its own charm, the service is excellent, the wines are of a very high quality with a huge choice to suit every taste and budget. prices are reasonable.

We were recommended the bar as a perfect place for a nice bottle of wine and light dinner before the theatre- the food and wine did not disappoint in the least but the service let them down dramatically!

We had a very nice bottle of wine and enjoyed the food but it certainly took it's time coming. Having arrived at 5.30pm (whilst it was still fairly empty) in the hope of an easy, quick dinner before the crowds arrived, we found our waitress unwilling and disinterested and considering we ordered a cold platter and left a lot of time to spare, we were nearly late for the 7.30pm theatre start! When we asked after 40 minutes how long they thought our food would be, we saw the waitress ask the barman who shrugged his shoulders provided no answer.

When our food arrived it was very good but far from cheap and rather soured from our experience with the waiting staff.

Wine bar... first and foremost...

Great place, only place to head for any time of the day or evening, and a table is fairly easy to score.

Food is top end of fine, wasn't filled with confidence on recent visit, though I assume the menu changes far more often than I realise. Prices, for food at least, aren't cheap any more, but once you factor in no starters and faff you are looking at a great value night.

My only choice in Leicester Square, and for good few mins walk either side, and frankly after walking past that bar on Bear Street you'll think you've descended into heaven...

Service isn't massively applicable.. order at the bar...

This place is magic! Stumbled upon it by accident on New Year's Eve. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and made us so welcome. We only popped in for a quick drink at 7:30 and left four hours later. The food was superb. A hidden gem in the heart of London!
