We had the joy of returning "CHEZ PATRICK and once again it was great.

The food, the service were faultless ,Patrick,as usual, was charming and despite the restaurant being fairly busy, the attentiveness of the staff was perfect.

Few new dishes,so even more tantalising and exciting menu but still the same affordable, good value prices ..that TOO explain's why the place is always busy.

The regularity of the quality in food and service is reassuring and makes this restaurant a safe place to go.Never disappointed.

We'll be back soon.

I often have meals at "chez Patrick" and I always enjoy it. Traditional french cuisine in a very relaxing atmosphere. I definitely recommend it,

Just excellent simple and authentic French cuisine, the way we like it,

Quite a unique place in London, Le loup des y est mer est juste parfait...( go for the Wild Seabass you won't regret...)

Chez Patrick, A Highly recomended address !

We decided to celebrate our anniversary at Chez Patrick..

My wife and I have been there once and had very good memories,it was special than,it remained so.

The food as well as the service were excellent, the owner having overheard ,i guess, the reason of our visit, offered us two glasses of champagne and even put few candles on our deserts,a very sweet and generous thought..we were touched and appreciative.

An outstanding and memorable evening.

Visited again !! it remains a great place to go.

Not much has changed and thanks God for that, except few new dishes on the menu.

The food is still superb, the service still outstanding, and now that winter is upon us,the ambiance is even warmer, cosier..the little candles on the table do help tremendously ,bringing a kind of festive feeling already. The owner is of course very much there, ensuring that all works how it should and bringing that special touch with his kindness and humour.

We'll be back very soon.

Three years ago (2007) my wife and I stumbled across this gem of a restaurant. \great welcome and the food was so good that we went back for another two evening meals. We will hopefully be in the area again soon and look forward to eating there again.

At a loose end and in need of refreshments we booked a table at Patrick's. What a great decision it turned out to be both gastronomically and in atmosphere. Now if only we could transplant it and its staff to the Midlands how happy we would be.

Since discovering Chez Patrick my visits have been regular. The welcome you get at the door prepares you for the excellence of the experience of dining there. Patrick himself normally welcomes his guests. The service from the staff is above reproach. They are always friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The cuisine is outstanding with a wide range of choice for all tastes and the price is very reasonable for such a high standard of cuisine, service and an overall experience which is rare to find these days. The fact that the restaurant is not large makes for a more intimate feeling to your whole evening or lunchtime out. My family now automatically decide that for any special occasion or just for a pleasant evening out we think no further than to go "Chez Patrick"

having moved close by less than a year ago,i thought we give it a try.I'm glad i did!!

having read two conflicting review on this site,i thought lets give the benefit of the doubt..what an experience,i could not disagree more with the comment of A.K

value for money is exceptional, less than £50 for two? in London? in Kensington?,they should go out more and see the prices charged in other places where the food and the service are far from being as good.

I have tried the squid, rubbery?nope, fresh, most certainly, probably the reason for others who are usually eating the calamari in rings "always frozen" not to be used to the taste and texture,,the raviolis, home made and indeed in a cream sauce, well,it says so on the menu, therefore not a surprise.

i too went for the sirloin, not at all at £19.00 but £16.80,it shows how little attention people pay but still keen to criticise ,it was tasty, tender and one of the best steak i ever had,so all in all,a fun,a good little discrete place. The owner and front of house is a very nice guy, professional, discrete,a wicked sense of humour and yet still enough of character to dismiss any pain in the neck he most certainly has to deal with on a regular basis.

the bill came,it was more than fair, the service is added, yes, but still at my discretion,i paid it,because it was worth it and left more because i wanted to go back and to be able to get a table.

i firmly believe in supporting my local businesses,i'm more than happy to support this one the best i can and to all the ones who don't appreciate a nice place, good food and service...ignorance and tightness with money will definitely keep you away..thanks God for that !!

My wife and I found ourselves in South Ken and took a chance booking a table. Can't praise this place enough. Ambience is intimate, friendly and in no way overbearing. The fish (monkfish and tuna) was fresh and prepared perfectly, with very simple and elegant presentation that allowed the flavors to come out. If it matters to you (it does to me), the portions are huge. Seafood pasta starter blew me away, as did the chocolate fondant and pineapple carpaccio (with licorice ice cream) desserts. Short but diverse high-quality wine list. The place was full (a lot of regulars it seemed), but not loud. Perfect experience.
