The food is first class. The service is great - friendly and unobtrusive. The sekection of wines is extensive to say the least. We were recommended the house white which was fantastic. I highly recommend a visit!

I visited this restaurant this pass friday and I have to say I was very impressed. The food was great, i ordered a thai soup for starters and was quite dubious but it was really good and tasty. My friend ordered sushi and she is was quite impressed and she is the sushi queen. The main and the dessert were also great so I must say for the food I was impressed. The service was top notch, I couldnt fault, they were attentive and explained each dish when served. The restaurant itself was very nice the decor and attention to detail spot on. I was so impressed that I recommened it for my mothers birthday so I guess we shall see if this restaurant impresses me again second time round.

I cant understand why just because a restaurant has trendy surroundings it should get 8.7 for food. We just had food their the other night and it really was sub standard, the prawn pad thai smelt of chicken broth and the service..well we were sitting at the table for 2 hours and we were only 4 people and the food we ordered arrived every half an hour and the last plate we had to cancel....

Really I can name many local restaurants who serve better food and have attentive service........

i have had good meals here on several occasions but on a recent visit had exceptionally poor service.Dishes arrived spasmodically and several did not arrive at all!

When challenged the staff were surly, unhelpful and eventually quite rude.

Shame because the food is good but the service really lets the place down.

I will not be taking guests back again!

They say on the menu it is supposed to be a Japanese poem cuz this is the meaning of Haiku.

Our experience was far away from beautiful poetry describing seasons of the year. This is a paradox when you come to asian tapas restaurant and you expect atmosphere as well but what you get and what you hear is just... French.

I would say Haiku is a french restaurant serving asian food in the heart of London, the capital of English speaking country but where unfortunately proper english has been forgotten or maybe forbidden?

However the food was good. Great variety of dishes some of which were superb and the finest we ever had.

Some really excellent dishes but such a diverse menu that its hard to focus! When I went the first time, we ordered far too many dishes and ended up having to take over half of it home. I've been three times now and each time the service has been totally appalling. I understand it is a relatively new restaurant and therefore must be having some teething problems... but this seriously needs to be fixed. Otherwise very nice atmosphere... Although it would have been nice to have more of a bar area. Loved the butter chicken and Thai curries.

I went to Haiku for a business dinner. I would advise diners to spend your expense check elsewhere. Each tapas plate for sharing was minute to say the least, with the thinnest sashimi I have ever seen, not to mention the whole 180 option menu with 3 different genres of food is a totally flawed concept. The teacup allows you a drop per pot.

The quality of the food was nothing more than a ping pong and real japanese, thai, indian offerings on queensway entirely blow it out of the water.

Just another overpriced, trendy overhyped indicator of the bubble ...

It was a spontanuos visit cause we just walked in invited by beautiful menu presented outside. Stunning decor and intimate atmosphere of that place were the best thing compering to our dining experience. Our waitress in fact was very good until her manager took over our table and then everything went wrong.

We did not get some items we ordered and we were annoyed too many times by a guy in suit with funny french accent. We asked a suggestion for dry south african wine and we followed his recomendation. At the end we got fruity S.Blanc and what was more frustrating that was the last bottle! The food was great and the place is beautiful apart from the management who seemed to be much less proffesional than their waiting staff.

My fiancee took me to Haiku on Saturday for a celebratory meal. We ordered eight dishes between us and every one was fabulous. Even the tofu was delicious, and that it a difficult thing to achieve! My only complaint was that the restuarant was really cold. I had to ask for my coat as the air conditioning was up so high. Someone was wearing a pashmina and another person had a scarf on, but the staff didn't get the hint.

However, overall the food was lovely and the service was impeccible. I would definitley recommend.
