Rodizio Rico

I've just been out to Rodizio Rico tonight with my partner, and had a fantastic time:he is very-very picky if it comes to food, and I was so happy because we haven't found such a nice place to eat so far...
The meats and cuts were really fresh, sizzling, with lovely smell and texture, a really huge selection of the sides and salads made us eat a bit too much...
We found a huge selection of them on the buffet table, unfortunately we couldn't even taste all of them, but we'll go back some time for an other round. The service is really poor, the waiters barely speak English, but sit in the corners chatting to each other, but apart from that we had a great night, we paid 55pounds having two BBQselections, 1 beer and a small water. Not the cheapest but really worth it, I can highly recommend it to Central and Eastern European(German, Austrian, Slovakian, Polish, Hungarian etc..) tastebuds you'll find TASTY YUMMY FOOD here!!!!!!!!!

After reading a few of the reviews on here, I must admit we were a little uncertain as to whether we had made the right decision booking this restaurant given all the available places to eat in Upper Street.
Ten of us we went on a Sunday for a late lunch and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised as everything was great. The meats were good cuts, cooked beautifully (loved the rarer sections!), the salads were anything but boring and there was plenty of food. They had a nice bar, with a well stocked wine list (albeit a little expensive) but we were pretty content with beer.
There were lots of South Americans eating in the restaurant, which is always a good sign. The restaurant was quite full and the staff remained hospitable throughout. I'd definitely go back.

went to the islington branch last night, and was by far the best night i have had in ages Ok the wine may be a little over priced, but the food was amazing. great cuts of meat, well cooked, and tastey. The salads offered great choice and were fresh. It was a very very busy night so the meat was plentyful. All in all a very good restaurant and will be going back again soon. Rodizio Rico, thank you for a great time!!

The food is a bit salty, may come dry if there is not enough people to keep the meat coming out and you do have to express your self to ensure you get your share regularly, but is that not with everything else?
Atmosphere is good, but over all quite overpriced, however were else would you find a similar place in London?
Been there done that, would not do it again kind of restaurant, but would suggest it to go there if you got the cash, pick up a time when is busy, are stuck and have never been to it.

Rodizio Rico is by far, without a doubt, for lack of better description, 100%, totally, over the top, untterly and totally the worst restaurant the world has to offer. Take your pick from the worlds most tasteless food, overcooked vegetables, drier than the Sahara meat, not atmosphere etc!!!!! Also, the fact that the drinks are more expensive than anywhere in the world as well...well what can I say! If bad food, bad lighting, bad atmosphere etc is your thing, you'll love it.

This is a place to be avoided at all costs. Dry, cheap cuts of meat accompanied by a relatively uninspiring salad buffet with a few so called 'local' dishes. If you like eating chicken wings, hearts and pieces of beef so chewy and heavily salted that you will probably end up with lockjaw accompanied by high blood pressure then visit this establishment in Bayswater

We went to the Islington Branch. Salads were great and loved the black beans with rice, but the meats were extremely disappointing... while the lamb was tastey, the rest of the meats were not good quality, tough and fatty. The drinks were way overpriced... a glass of wine for £6.00, £2.80 for a coke from a spray gun!! I was amazed at how busy it was, they must be raking it in! £85.00 for three adults for mediocre food. Would not return again, even if someone else was paying!

would highly recommend this restaurant - especially for a group or party. It's got a great atmosphere, the food is fabulous and it's reasonably priced for London. Try the Brazilian cocktails, they are brilliant.

His review is misleading my ngirlfriend (who is also brazillian) took me to this restaurant and she said that it is the best most authentic brazillian reataurant she has been to in england. Great food as much as you want and reasonably priced. Don't listen to AJ he is a clown who needs to get his facts straight. Its an excellent restaurant

It used to be a good place. These days they try to feed you cheap staff, so they can reduce their cost. Be ready to eat a lot of chicken, unless you are Brazilian (exceptions are made)
