NEVER AGAIN
FOOD - Tough and cold meat, overall a real shame, a true offence to the Brazilian culture.
SERVICE - The staff were impolite, rude, discourteous. The staff appeared unhappy and miserable.
ATMOSPHERE - No music. Cold place with dirty cutlery.
VALUE FOR MONEY - Disgraceful, no sense, to be more ridiculous, I was charged 10% extra for the service; I was told the staff will never see this money.

Always nice and friendly, been there for over 10 times and always like it, beef is good but not exceptional, salad bar is amazing, staff are very nice and the Brazilian music in the background always add more character to the place.
Only one downside - desserts are dull...

A great experience. You could not fault the food or the service. The freshly cut meat came round to our table every few minutes and at one point I had at least five different cuts of meat on my plate which I had already piled high with lots of exotic salad, I'm not the biggest of meat eaters but I have got to say that I tried it all and ate most of what I was given.
I would definitely go again and you never know, maybe a fish dish could be introduced, either hot, on a skewer, or as a cold dish - only a suggestion!!

Family easter in London. We Went to Rodizio Rico that Westbourne Grove where we've been several times before. Now it is some years since the last time and we were now very disappointed, the food has been bad and expensive. We fail the restaurants are in the chain and go to Kolois restaurant near Paddington instead.

Me and my wife have been going to this place on birthdays for a number of years. She is Brazilian so it is nice to go back. But the last few years this place has got worse and worse, To the point where we will never go back. We went only last week (march 2011) and the service was the worst I have ever seen. There was a table close to us who had at least 12 people on it. They always got served first, if we were lucky we would get the left overs. And if we did the cooked meat had been stripped off leaving RAW meat. They used to do nice steak, and sausages ect, Now it is rubbish flank steak, and other cheap cuts. Drinks took forever to come, and one thing I do not agree on is the 10% service charge on the bill. As we always tip, for good service. I will not tip for service of thos style, yet it is put on the bill!
We will never be going back. We have been to this type of place in Brazil, Thailand, and also in New Zealand. All of them beat this one in London hands down.

We went to Rodizio Rico at Westbourne Grove and thought that the food was pretty good. What really took me by surprise was the service. We ordered a cocktail each which we were told was their speciality. When we got the bill there were double the number of cocktails on the bill. When I asked our waiter he said it was because they were doubles. Now at no point did we ask for doubles, nor did they tell us they were doubles and they are certainly on the menu as singles (priced accordingly). I refused to pay for 8 cocktails instead of 4 as we did not order this (and 2 of us couldn't drink them as they were so strong). The waiter treated me like I being completely ridiculous about this and said that everyone got the same size (if this is the case then advertise them on the menu as doubles! - a bit of a scam if you ask me). I was then told he could not take it off the bill as the owner wasn't there! Well eventually when I kicked up enough of a fuss the manager adjusted the bill accordingly. I definitely think some of the staff need a bit of training in customer service.

This is simply one of the worst places I have eaten with regards to quality of food and price. In short, the meat is either over cooked or saturated with salt which means you will drink a lot of water thus filling yourself. The style of service is a joke, you are constantly presented with a variety of meats from chicken hearts to topside beef. The portions are small, and if you prefer a certain meat you may need to wait a while for it to come around again. I personally didn't like the idea of having 4 different types of meats on my plate at the same time.
The vegetarian option is equally poor.
Rodizio Rico is for those who simply want fill your belly and want to pay a small fortune for the pleasure. I would recommend going to your local fried chicken take away instead.

Had my 30th birthday in the Islington branch tonight, there were 24 of us in the party of which 6 were under 7 years old.
The meat was very tough although nice flavours and the salad bar although vast was quite spicy so the children ate only chips and rice. The passadors were quite abrupt but this may be due to limited English. Service was dreadfully slow even though the restaurant was relatively quiet. drinks were ordered up to 4 times before finally being received. On the positive side the staff didn't seem to mind the children running around and generally being children! 3 members of the party were still asking for more food when the passadors cleared the plates which made us think about the 'all you can eat' slogan!
At the end of the evening the passadors began offering the children deserts and showing them the desert trolly but didn't ask the parents beforehand if anyone would actually be having desert so before anybody knew any different they had taken the children's orders at £5-£7 per desert so the manager had to be called over and to be fair after a discussion the children were offered the deserts for free but they did have to wait 45 minutes for their icecreams. when it came to paying we had decided to each pay for what we had consumed. each person was charged £7 service charge which was unfair and bottles of wine were being charged to two different people on average one adult and one child were paying £53 together for their meal and drinks which is very pricey for what you actually get. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there, we are are generally a family who make the best of any situation and we did have a laugh but the stress of slow service, tough meat and extortionate prices would put me off of coming back here again.

Long story short: Upper Street branch, rude service. Waited forever for our drinks, our waiter was stoned or just very obtuse. We had to before the next table arrives, but it took them so long to print the damn bill, we wasted another half hour sorting it out! We asked that we just get another bill printed so we can speed it up and was refused and rudely reprimanded. I thought it was the security guard we where talking to, and it turned out to be the manager!! Shocking.
We where then called back, because we didn't pay a drinks bill (another one, which was seperate, but not presented to us at time of paying). We explained this and that started a huge argument with "bouncer / manager".
Never again man. The food wasn't even that great! Overcooked, cheap meat, rude waiters running back and fro, nobody explaining how we should order / how the system works.
Restaurant was loud and chaotic and not a very nice ambience.
Just rubbish and totally over priced for what you get. Give it a wide berth.

SO DISAPPOINTING !!!!!!
We went to Rodizio Rico last week at the O2. Having been in Churrascarias in Brazil and Miami I am pretty familiar with the "rodizio" concept and went looking forward to enjoy lots of good meat.
The buffet was small but decent, the feijoada (beans) was really tasty but there was not enough selection of salads or cold cuts.
The service was slow even though we went really early and the waiters look surprised when we asked for more picanha, telling us that we have to wait !
Most of the beef was not tender except for the picanha that only came 3 times during the 2 hours we sat there. The waiter somehow manged to give picanha to everyone around us and when finally came to our table we had to eat the cold leftovers.
If you want to eat a lot of meat and do not care about the quality nor the atmosphere then go to rodizio rico and fill your belly, as anything else is a waste of time and money at this place.
If you want good beef, amazing service and beautiful "ambience" then go to Gaucho, it's pricey but very worth it! (look at our review).
