The Fish Shop

Popped to the Fish Shop before a Sadlers Wells performance on Sat eve. Read the reviews on here as an after-thought and was quite surprised to see a lot of negative ones. I thought the food, service and ambience was all great. Admittedly we only had a main course as we didn't have much time, but was very happy with everything and would definitely return.

Why bother?

Non-existent service, good-ish food, poor interior layout meant that no one on the serving staff can ever see you. You can keep waving away.. Not that the staff are any use once they do come over...its a wonder they can find their way to the workplace!

Highly avoidable..

Overall poor. Unfriendly, unattentive staff. No specials available and the food was really average. Had to send 1 main back as it was completely undercooked. No one even bothered to apologise. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
