I have been to Drones at Fenwick on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is high quality brasserie and the ingredients are well sourced (organic salmon on a homemade gravalax), free range chicken and a mixed grill of fish which is sustainable (no endangered cod to be seen). On this note, the bottled still water is belu (the carbon neutral bottled water). There is also an express menu and some excellent puddings including an apple blackberry crumble. The menu changes and seasonal ingredients are used (asparagus is on the summer menu at the moment).
The setting is simple, the service efficient. It is welcome to find a place of this standard in the otherwise gastronomic desert of Bond Street.
