Drinks are ok, but the food is grim. Everything we ordered, even the chips, were greasy. We could taste it all afternoon - and that's no good thing. Burgers looked ok but there are plenty of pubs in the area serving up much better food so there's really no excuse to find yourself here for lunch.

I have to disagree with the previous review. We popped in for a quick lunch as we were not sure what we wanted and it looked busy. Whilst the service was friendly I am totally confused as to why all the staff need ear pieces - like you would see Tom Cruise wearing in Mission Impossible. The food seems all to be cooked in the same deep fat fryer - and this is after it was bought from a cheap supermarket (very stodgy). On the plus side my friends Mojito was nice and the atmosphere was alright, caught a bit of the olympics opening ceremony (unfortunately the highlight of my meal) - I would come back for drinks - but in terms of eating here again I would rather eat my shoe!

Great little bar for lunch during the working week. A step up from the places around this area in this price range and an extensive menu. Sounds like it has changed a lot since the review below 5 months ago. Have been going here a couple of times a month since the summer and the food and service is consistently good in my experience. Perfect little getaway from the office!

This place typified for me so much of what is wrong with many of London's bars.

Incredibly rude staff and management, poor service and heavy handed security- who I witnessed manhandling people in a most impolite fashion.

Added to this being charged £9.20 for two pints of lager did not make for a happy time.

We left very quickly as you should do if you ever happen to need to go to this pitiful experience.
