Extremely disappointed, the food is way over priced for the quality. I am a restaurant connoisseur and reviewer, and I can assure you that this is no better than your average Indian take away. The location is great, too bad the building is not edible...

I have to assume that some of the reviews on this page are about different restaurants. I have dined at the Cinnamon Club about six times obver the last two and a half years and have never had anything other than an excellent time.
Two nights ago we celebrated my parent's Ruby Wedding anniversary there and everyone was blown away by the food.
Sharing with my wife I got to try both the blackleg chicken and the tandoori squab pigeon starters - both were exquisitely spiced, melt in the mouth tender and just right on the portion-size, not overloading you before the main course as many restaurants do.
Although, again, everything ordered for the mains was stunning, special mention must be made of the hot and sweet king prawns with Alleppey curry sauce. Possibly the best thing done to a prawn, ever.
Throughout the meal, and indeed on the phone while booking, the staf were efficient, friendly and solicitous without ever being overbearing or obtrusive.
It is expensive but, considering the high standards and location, not overly so. It remains one of my top five restauants anywhere, let alone London and every time I bring friends and family here they come away converts.

The build up to this evening was ruined by the rubbish food that was served, I was so so so so so disappointed, absolutely the worst Indian food I have ever had the mistake to eat.
Further to add insult to injury the bill was legal robbery
Will I eat there again NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER.

I frankly don't get the mixed reviews. Perhaps (hopefully, one should say) management took them on board and things improved since. What we experienced a week a go was great food and very good service in fascinating surroundings. We will be going back for sure.

I have never bothered to write any reviews but I feel I must in this instance. The worst restaurant experience EVER. The service was appalling. We waited more than an hour between each course, with no apology or reasoning. Waiters were rude and didn’t follow requests, ie can i have a coke please, can I hang my coat etc. The waiters also didn’t fill up water at all or know anything about the food. The meal took 4.5 hours and it was not a Guy Savoy 20 course tasting menu that takes time. Never ever go. I am still furious!!

What a wonderful restaurant! I went there with my partner and we had the 7 course taster menu. It was beautiful food that fills your mouth with flavour. Those who say the portions are small don't understand fine dining. You don't go there to stuff your face, you go there to try flavours you could never recreate at home. It is pricy, but as a treat I would definitely recomend it!

We ate at the Cinnamon Club last Friday. The food was absolutely wonderful. The staff however were over zealous in whipping our plates away before we had even finished eating. I was left holding bread that I had just started, grabbing it before my starter plate was whipped away.
I felt this was pretty bad, but at the end of the meal we were asked to move to the bar as other people were waiting for our table. We paid nearly £300 for this meal, and in a top restaurant I do not expect to be treated like this.
My husband and I will not be revisiting.

Me and my partner had a SUBLIME meal here. Nothing I can really add - except that we would like (finances permitting!) to come here again ASAP"
Totally recommended..

I have been to The Cinnamon Club on several occasions to either entertain client or family events. It is undoubtedbly the pioneers of Modern Indian cusine in the UK. I am urged to write this review to let the other reviewer know that it's first of all not a canteen instead a fine dining restaurant.
Food portion is not big enough purely because they don't want you to fill your stomach with starters. Infact most of the upmarket restaurants encourage thier guests to go for 3 course meal and portions are considerably good.
It seems my friend that you went their with total different expectations of some cheap joint in soho. Staff are firmer and polite...i am recognised by my first name and greeted without fail.
I personally would reccomend this restaurant to all the food lovers and if you think it's heavy on the pocket, they even do less expensive 3 course menu at £22...now can you beat that?
