We had a really tasty non-greasy thali here this evening - delicious. The 2 waiters who served us were courteous and friendly and I am pleased to say that we will be returning again soon.

The food is generally good, especially the cashew nut pakora starter. I had been twice before and the service was never that great. The last time I went however was the last time I would ever visit. The very rude female waitress was on the telephone when we arrived. She saw us come in but carried on her conversation which wasn't a takeaway order but a personal call. I beckoned her by pointing at a vacant table and she gave a cursory nod & look as if to say don't interupt. We sat down and she continued her conversation on the phone without bringing any menus to us. After about 5 minutes, another couple entered and she immediately put the phone down, hurried towards them with menus in hand passing our table as she did so without any acknowledgment. She asked the other couple what table would suit them and generally kotowed to them. I don't know what her problem was with us but we decided we had had enough and left. This restaurant is generally empty when we have been and so look like they could do with the business. With this woman as head waitress who seems to decide which customers she is going to treat politely and be rude to others, I expect them to be out of business very shortly.

Food was lovely but it was definitely NOT a kid friendly place. We had our 14 month toddler with us and we had booked this after reading that the place was child friendly. However, we were constantly made to feel unwelcome as our little one was making a few sounds and they kept frowning at us and ignored us when we tried to call them over for clearing table, ordering next course etc, etc. It was fairly quiet for a Friday evening aswell (4 tables max) so that was even more surprising.

Had a party of 6 last week. Good food with excellent service shows finally management realizes the meaning to run the restaurant. Never seen this much efficiency before. Will be back soon

This is the best place for dosas idlis vadas and other south Indian delights outside Mysore! Service is great thanks to the manager damil who runs a tight ship here and is always impeccable. Superb!

Had a bad experience (and that is an understatement!) today. Took some guests over and the food was very much below average if not terrible: the batter of the dosa was too salty, the rava dosa was soggy and the mysore masala had no tomato paste! For a place that specializes in South Indian Vegetarian fare - this was terrible. I will not go back and hope this place - there are many other better restaurants.
