Shezan

Went here last night and what a disaster it was. Our booking was at 7.30pm and ill get straight to the point when I say our mains didn’t come out till just after 9.30pm. Food was nice but not worthy of waiting 2hrs for. Service was slow and dull which suited the lifeless restaurant. I found it to be more like a rip off merchant as to a decent Indian house. Total cost of this disaster was £168.30 and that covered 3 starters, 3 mains, nan bread, rice 2 beers and 2 bottles of wine. Would I return no, would I recommend… NO!

First impressions were great, heart of Knightsbridge, lovely decor warm ambiance. However found the service very poor and a 10% service charge was added to the bill. Food was quite tasty although the starter (mixed kebab) was not as described and the vegetable dish we had to send back as was undercooked - this was deducted from our bill. No better than a local takeaway just they are commanding very high prices because of the area. £90 for 2 without alcohol! Would not return -disappointed.

We found this with the iphone tastcard app. great place. Not far from Harrods. Just as well i had discount. Pranw starter boring, the rest was lovely and well worth a try.

Shezan is not the same any more, I have visited Shezan regularly for the last 4 years. Unfortunately recently the quality of the food has deteriorated dramatically.

Defiantly not the same anymore. Very disappointed as it was one of the best restaurants food wise in West London.

Celebrated my birthday at Shezan. Very good experience. Our waitress (very professionnal) helped us with the menu and the drinks which was very helpful as we were no specialist in Indian food. Starters offered, good surprise! Staff professionnal and friendly, even the propietor made sure everything was okay.

Will definitely eat there again.

I dinned at Shezan with a couple of friends and we had a very good time. The staff was very friendly, they recommended us some traditional dishes and I have to say that it was succulent. The atmosphere is a mix between sophisticated and relax, suitable for young or older people. We ate next to Cindy Lauper, quite impressive...!

I highly recommend this restaurant and I sure will dine there again!

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had!! The service was a disgrace, the waiters ignored our table (other than one other table, the entire restaurant was empty on a saturday night), the food was slow to come out, the kebabs were hard, the chicken was dry and the Manager was not around when I asked to speak to him.

Will never dine there again - don't know how a place like this is still in business - as we walked out, the manager and the senior waiter were outside, looked at us and said something in Hindi - didn't sound pleasant!

Very warm welcome n mesmerising atmosphere which was followed by delicious food. i must say this was the best indian food i've ever tasted and the service is very quick n they've got beautiful staff :D

Beside my table there was some big bollywood star as well and when i asked the staff they told me that they have stars coming in our restaurant quite often.. i simply loved this place and will definately go there again.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...

booked a table for my fathers birthday.... Arrived at 8.30 but did not get seated until 10pm ! They had double booked.... Starters were cold, main meal was ok. Just they have no clue about service and how to treat their customers. Awful place and i would most definitely not recommend this place to anyone....
