I would suggest going to the £5 Afghani buffet down the road. MUCH better value, service and food!!

Nice food, nice atmosphere and nice staff..... until the end of the night where they showed their true colours!

We booked for 20 people (bringing in loads of custom), but unfortunately due to 3 of my friends being ill, only 17 of us turned up. They then charged us for 20 meals as we 'didn't inform' them that there would be 17 and not 20 - whats with that???????? Certainly doesn't seem very Caribbean to me!

Well they have now lost, as well as half our service charge and any more rum punches that we would have continued to drink after the meal, the repeat custom of at least 20 people and all our friends (who are mostly local).

The food was okay but not worth the £35 that my girlfriend and I paid for only 2 starters, 1 maincourse a a few side dishes. the service was slow - BB was on his own, doing everything - which was somewhat impressive! he too, was polite, helpful but clearly looked tired.

I love going to BB's. The wine list is limited, maybe the furniture has seen better days and during the week it can be very quiet... A great suprise as from Monday - Thursday they serve a special £10 menu especially for thoes who have little experience of Caribbean food.

The choice between two starters (split pea soup is divine). A main which serves 6 different dishes per person (including superb goat curry, jerk chicken, ribs) plus fried plantain and rice & peas, followed by choice of desert. All for £10. Sometimes the staff take a while to warm up but in general they are great, they have introduced my partner and I to Westerhall Rum and I even went on holiday to Grenada on the back of eating here. Overall this is a real Caribbean experince.

Out of this world staff so down to earth you feel as though you are part of the family. As the cooking well FANTASTIC. Presentation great.
