although the food is quite authentic and good especially the duck and soya chicken, the service is absolutley atrocious, after having our order taken, a plate of gai lan came after about 30 minutes by itself !!! then after about 40 mins 3 other dishes came with no boiled rice, i mean how could we eat all that food with no rice, having asked where the other dish and rice was i was rudely and abrubtly told it is coming with the most dirtiest of faces being thrown at me, i mean this was after about 50 minutes of waiting, eveyone i was with had more or less finished their food, so i decided to cancel my order to get another dirty look ...they even had the cheek to hide the service charge when the bill came...did i pay it HELL NO!!! Evan had to tell them their service was awful....hope they took notice as this is not the 1st time the service was way below any kind of standard here.....

they must be competing up with wong kei's with the service

A Rather Unusual Chinaman

A Rather Unusual Chinaman

Thursday, July 16, 2009 - When you ask a Chinese person where they like to go eat in London, the Four Seasons is often not far from the tip of their tongue. Renowned for their roast duck and their good value, home cooked style dishes, it has always been a popular destination for the Chinese community...The duck was as tasty as ever (if a little on the fatty side, this duck had not been working out!) and we both had opted for no bones, so arrived boneless. This is one of the only places I know which provides this as an option.
