your comments review this restaurant and win a bottle of champagne

The two of us went to Jerkmaica after reading all the reviews here. Sadly, the restaurant did not live up to the expectation. I am fine with small, hole-in-the-wall kind of places as long as the food is good. It wasn't. We ordered the sprats and peppered shrimp of which the sprats were decent, but the shrimp just tasted like they had been microwaved in a bottle of Jamaican sauce from Tesco. (And I suspect that's exactly what it is.) The mains were not impressive either. One of us had red fish, which was clearly not fresh. Goat curry was nothing to write home about either. If you look at the website, you expect a slightly classy place, but this is not. Most of the other customers were chavs who looked like they were having a good time. If you're not comfortable with that, stay away. I must say the hostess was very pleasant, though.

We went on a Saterday evening and had Jerk chicken and stuffed Snapper. It was excellent food, very tasty and nicely presented. The chicken was absolutely succulent and the snapper really tasted like snapper. Cocktails are OK-ish, but wine is excellent.

We had friendely service and although it was quite busy, we felt we were taken care off.

Check this out if you are in for some really nice caribbean food!!

I went to this restaurant with my Boyfriend in November and I was very impressed with the food.

Friendly service from the staff and the food quality of food was excellent. Especially the Curry Goat and Rice (main) and the peppered shrimp for starters.

I am definitely going back and I am taking some friend too.

Their rotis are the best I've had in London and you can't argue with the price either. The cocktails are also delicious.

I haven't been to this restaurant for a few years and i was reminded why straight away. The presentation of the restaurant was bland and ahd no atmosphere what so ever. The service was unattentive and bordering rude and the presentation of the food was imaginative.

Since my last visit the service seems to have deteriorated somewhat. The waitress was grumpy, barely acknowledging our existence. She also tried to bring out a main course while we were in the middle of the starters, with no apology.

Unfortuntely the jerk chicken was a bit tough this time, but the curried goat with rice and plaintain was delicious. The starters were lovely too.

If they could sort outhe service, this would be a fine restaurant.!

went there for my mums birthday, food was really nice, different to the usual type of caribbean cuisine that i dine on which has more of the jamaican flavour, but none the less a refreshing change. The portions are very generous, so when you go there you will be full. I had the Jerk Chicken, Sis had BBq Chicken, my mum had Jerk fish and my sister had stuffed snapper which was all delicious. They come with a helping of rice n peas, corn salad and potato or coleslaw. I love eating this way with a bit of everything. The macaroni pie was lovely too. On the whole a good experience. The only down side was the ambience. They could do with decorating a bit for a more modern feel. But otherwise i would recommend this restaurant to anybody!

Went here for some takeaway. Inside it is ok but lacking a bit of atmosphere. The guy who served me was a bit grumpy like he still had a hangover from the night before. The food was pretty good though and quite good value for money. Would probably eat there if I was in the area but it doesn't warrant a special trip.
