service is excellent - especially the two very welcoming staff Santeep (Sanoh) and Moh (Mohamed) - they are very hospitable. The place is very lively. And having staff like Santeep and Moh they are perfect example of dedicated staff who care about their customers.

Went to spice rack lounge to celebrate my husbands birthday. we went as a family - my mum, brother, sis in law and husband. being from newcastle upon tyne, it was our first visit.

i too could not book a table over the phone, but when we got there, we got a drink at the bar and staff were on the look out for a free table situated by the dance floor as thats what we preferred.

the service was brilliant, we did not have to wait for food or drinks to come to us, the food was DELICIOUS and the music was brilliant- a mix of english and bollywood to suit everyone! we ate drank and danced as a family in a geat setting.

overall the night was amazing, the prices were reasonable, great music and atmosphere, definately will go again!

Very bad service..Called to book a table, only to be told that they only take bookings for 6+ people. For anyone else, its first come first serve basis.

So we arrived around 6pm on Saturday, only to see tables for less then 6 people had the reserved signs on! Asked the waiter why we have to wait for a table when the rest of the tables were all empty, but was told they are reserved.

Kicked up a fuss as to why I couldnt book a table for 3 people, when tables for '2' were reserved. The waiter couldnt answer me!!

Terrible service, managed to get a table eventually however were told that we only have it for 1 hour. Now im a fast eater, but if they take majority of the time cooking the food, then bring it out and tell you that you only have 10 minutes, is quite disguisting.

Went to Spice Rack last night. What an amazing night once again. booking of 28 people from all northants and southampton from 6 to 60yrs old. The service was superb and quick. The food was fantastic as usual. Infact we had to keep ordering more as the food ran out!!The problem you have when large groups go, is that some people enjoy the food and some always critise, however, all of the people are already planning to go back. Thanks to all the staff for the quality service and will defo be making another visit in the very near future.

Had my husbands 40th birthday party here. The food was fantastic! I'd pre orderes the set menu and the food never ran out. if we wanted more we just asked and it came freshly made.

The service was great, we were looked after by Sanjay who made sure our table was happy at all times. Considering there were 30 people there!

Would definitely recommend Spice rack as a place to eat and celebrate.

Fantastic music so a lot of dancing too!

A very disappointing evening. Having chosen set menu weeks before for my Daughter's 21st, nobody was aware of our choices on arrival! It was a busy night, but even so the wait for food and drinks unacceptable, and food was a letdown.

The staff have been apologetic since and offered amends but i'm afraid it's an experience I DONT want again.

Spent the new year's eve here with a couple of friends. One of the best club's that i've been to, specially the service when you're dancing and the staff is serving you with shrimps, pakoras and loads of other delicious stuff. Very clean and good atmosphere too. All the staff members were very nice and cooperative. It was my first time here and i'm definitely going to go again some time and i'll recommend everyone to go as well.

Went to this place last night having read the reviews before. Parking is a nightmare, ambience is ok - bit noisy but there were 2 football games on. Not a place for a quite meal. Food was very good, and resonably priced. Staff - best way to describe would be "headless chickens" - - the place lacks management influence- its a ship without a captain. If they addressed this issue it would deffinely benefit.

Toilets were clean - an important area as this displays their cleanliness standards.

Impressed with the food - will go again.

I have been to Spice Rack Lounge many times (not at weekends) and found the atmosphere very pleasant, staff and service is reasonable but the food is excellent. My Kids are very fussy about the food but they always enjoy the quality of food.

Service depends on the area you seat, if you seat in a quiet corner then, staff will ignore you. Good for a family evening out.

Staff needs training in behaviour as they lack totally in behaviour skills. Atmosphere is good if you want a club/bar/restaurant kind of place. Drinks suck. They can what so ever not mix any drink except whiskey coke, rum and coke and brandy coke. Food is ok, have tried better, but its ok. But once again the staff are really rude and arrogant and ignorant and I want service. When i pay for something I expect to get service, at spice racks i didnt get service, not at all, so the conclusion is i will not spend more money there.

From a guy who owns 11 restaurants in Scandinavia. Come here if you want service
