Buona Sera

I have gone to this restaurant many times. I even catered both my Wedding and Daughters Christening there. I would highly recommend this place. The food is always great; Staff is always friendly and nice. Good value for money

Great, accommodating, buzzy place to go with friends to have good food, fun at a cheap price!! What else could you want?? Oh, great atmosphere and friendly staff... but they have that as well!! Their garlic bread with tomato I could die for:-) Loved it all.

I've previously had good meals at the Buona Sera, but hadn't been here for about a year. Revisiting was a very disappointing experience. This venue has gone from being "buzzy" to incredibly noisy, with fairly naff "club" music being played. Service was slow and quite inattentive (though to be fair it was busy). The food was really pretty poor, especially the "specials", which were bland and uninteresting. Not an enjoyable experience. I won't go back

I have eaten here before during the week and really enjoyed the food, but when I visited a couple of Fridays ago I was very disappointed. The food was very poor. My boyfriend, who will eat almost anything, left his meal. On top of that it was just too busy - I like a restaurant to have buzz but this was unpleasantly packed out. Yes, it's good value for money but so is Pizza Express.

Talk about quality food for less price...this is the place to go. From the Management down to the waiters,everyone is polite,nice and very friendly. The food is divine. This is certainly the place to go with in-laws who don't like anything expensive but good and simple.

The bar and the mini cafe area is really cool. You can unwind while you wait for a table. My mates and I turn to watch Match of the Day in the cafe area.

We took some good friends of ours there on Saturday night, I have been several times before and it is always a great night. The moment you walk in the door you are met with a huge buzz of activity, this place is always busy. Good staff who are very helful, the food is great and the portion sizes are huge! Wine list is good too at a very reasonable price. Woudl certainly reccommend this place for a good value evening out.

Went to celebrate a 40th birthday. Very pleasant service, good food, great atmosphere. Very pleasant staff.(We even got a post-dinner digestivo on the house, totally unsolicited!) Can definitely recommend and will return. Menue: from pizza to full dinner. Four of us had three courses with two bottles of a very nice chianti classico for under £30 each.

After being dissapointed at the expansion of this little gem a few years ago it took me a while to venture back - I'm glad I did! Wonderful food, great service and warm atmosphere are still in abundance at Buona Sera. The christmastime set menu last year was the best set meal I've ever had - all 14 of us are still singing it's praises. Will be making a call very soon to book a table for a christmas gathering this year.
