Went for lunch Wednesday 23rd February 2011 with a group of 5.... what a horrible experience. Grilled Salmon was burnt very bad. Gammon looked grey not pink with griddle marks as Grilled gammon should be. Chips looked like they where old chips re-fried. green beans freezing cold. Crackerjack prawns served in a horrid plastic basket. the salad it was served with was awful. the lettuce heart was not removed. we sent some of the food back, explained the problem, to our horror they only changed the chips. the gammon was sent back on the same plate SERVICE.. WHAT SERVICE . No drinks offered we had to ask, then they took 15 minutes to arrive once the waitress over heard me. We did not ask for the bill it was just put on our table then we asked for 5 seperate bills ohh why did we ask that huge problem manager was unhelpful kept repeating we cannot do that... WHY NOT I GASPED. after some time she finally gave in and came with a piece of paper and split the bill as we requested. The Manager needs some front of house customer service training and indeed so do the the staff, It was truly awful.
