The Natural Burger Co. (St John's Wood)

I've been to Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Hamburger Union and they never quite lived up to their promise. GBK's meat is usually dry and the bread not 100% fresh.

The Natural Burger Company is the best burger place of it's kind in London. The burgers were perfectly cooked, medium rare and still lovely and pink inside. The dressings/toppings were excellent. I had the Hot Jalapeno, and it was Hot and tasty. My friend had The Works - which came with a delicious piece of sausage. The wine was very good and served at exactly the right temperature. The Tiramisu seemed to be genuinely home made, the base was still slightly crispy, the Mascarpone was creamy and full bodied; it was delicious without the common pre-prepared tastes and textures you'd normally get. The only let down was my cup of tea at the end which I think came from a standard catering tea bag and lacked flavour. The service was excellent.
