Buona Sera at the Jam

I took my girlfriend there for our anniversary on a recommendation. Possibly the best recommendation to date. The food was fantastic - def recommend the battered courgette and calamari dish for starter. To sit on one of the top tables makes the dining experience that much more enjoyable. Neither my girlfriend or I smoke and found the atmosphere to be fine even though their were ciggies alite. A great experience in London and for a change real value for money.

Probably one of the few places left on King's Road which will not hurt your wallet too much. OK Italian food, enough to get your shopping for the rest of the afternoon. Fun for kid and youngsters alike. More serious customers will find the stacked tables odd. We had a plate of pasta on Saturday noon. We were the first customers to arrive and the waitress went on, as we ordered and ate, with a cleaning the tables. Being surrounded by fumes of bleach, though, was a rather unpleasant experience.

Had dinner here last friday night... n I have to say that it was nothing short of amazing... It was a first date n I have to say that he scored major points... Its quite a bizarre restaurant on two levels... excellent use of space.. very cosy and romantic.. The staff were also very nice and attentive... The food was also amazing... I had the King Prawn Risotto and it was yummmm... My date had the lamb.. n that was extra yummmmm.. Im definately going back sometime soon... I had an absolutely great night... no regrets at all...

The chef is certainly not Italian!!!

Very disappointing food, service good. Good idea also to sit upstair, but if you don't smoke, you feel more like being in a smoky pub rather than in a restaurant...

One of the worse meal we had in London. To avoid strongly.

I went there before my birthday. Extremely fresh dinning experience. The restaurant layout is unique, there are actually two level seatings in one floor. Average service standard, however, a high quality of food though, great presentation. Reasonable price. One advise, becareful when you go up stairs onto the upper level seats as they are really steep and narrow!

I had a great meal here last night. The special's are really really good. From the look fo the menu you might think you are in some cafe, but the food really suprised me. The place itself is so quirky and ideal for couples and first dates! Very cool and romantic at the same time. I love it and cannot wait to go back to sample more of the yummy food! The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us.

The seats upstairs were sooo cool. It is a really cosy restaurant, great for a date or with some close friends, though you can only sit four upstairs comfortably, so not great for large groups.

The calamari was gorgeous, the main course was OK, but the banoffee pie was FAB
