My girlfriend and I popped i for a quick bite Monday lunchtime. The restaurant was dead unsurprisingly but we were made more than welcome. The salad in a taco shell was very tasty, however I think my Surfing Fajitas was just too greasy. I cant say there was much to the flavour either. Shame, but I would give the place another try, maybe when they have more people in.

I loved the food, the restaurant was a bit understaffed. When the restaurant turned into a nightclub. The music was rubbish and too many people popping to the loo to powder their noise if you know what I mean. I would go again just not a saturday night.

I have been to Cafe Sol too many times to mention! In all honesty I think i may have been there at least 50 times, and have never had a bad meal! I hae taken many different people and nobody has ever disliked it. I know both owners and they are not rude as said below. They may have been referring to the manager, who isn't as friendly as they are, but still not as bad as she was made out! I would highly reccomend the chicken nachos, as they are amazingly good. The atmosphere is always good, and it has recently been refurbished making it an even more pleasant place to eat. I will certainly carry on recommending Cafe Sol as it is one of my favorite places to eat, as the service is fast and friendly, the food is excellent and is also very reasonably priced, especially for the area it is in: and before anyone posts a snide comment claiming me to be a member of staff, I'm most certainly not.

In regards to the negative review - I had gone there for a 4th time because there are times where you dont have an option to eat any where else. In addition, you always think I will give this restaurant another chance. But the chances for this place have run out.

No doubt the review was from the owner.

This is a lovely place to eat. We found the service quick, the food was gorgeous and the staff were friendly.

If people who have written previous reviews really don't like it why do they keep going there?

Went to restaurant for the 4th time, and I knew it wasnt going to be an easy time. The owner of this place, is the most rude woman you could possibly meet, especially in the position of running a restaurant. Ive noticed her previously being absolutely Condecending to her staff, and not really bothered whether she is friendly with the ppl who pay for her cheap clothes, i.e. US .. the Customers. The woman has no sense on HOW to run her restaurant.

We were starving, ordered drinks first, the drink for a friend, was made incorrectly, she then started making the drink again huffing and puffing, making US feel UNCOMFORTABLE. She then gave the drink back, WRONG again, she made it feel as if it was OUR fault. Banging the glass on the bar, shaking her head, again huffing and puffing.

The poor waiter was apologetic, but she didnt care, we asked for the bill, and said we dont want to eat here and she was making us feel tense, and she couldnt be bothered, wacked the bill on our table and left in a huff.

If I was the waiter I would quit, she doesnt know how to treat her staff or customers.

My advice, dont bother, if you believe you work hard for your money and dont want to feed rude and obnoxious ppl.

If another mexican opened around Clapham Common, this place would run into real problems.

VERY DISSAPOINTED.
