Me Love Sushi Take away

JUST DREADFUL!!! On our way home we decided to stop for some sushi. The original idea was to go to Taro, a Japanese restaurant that we know and visit frequently. How wrong were we to give melovesushi a try!!!

The starters, edamame and soft shell crab, arrived after the mains, and they should not have arrived at all, as we simply could not eat either of them. The edamame looked as if it had been cooked in the microwave (well, everything did!). The crab was simply diabolical, a revolting chewing nightmare that only tasted of refried oil.

The California and spicy tuna rolls were not inedible but 10 times worse than Wasabi’s, which is on the lower end of the market.

The main courses, prawn and crab with rice and grilled mackerel with rice were just ok but tasted weird. We are pretty sure that the food had been simply reheated in the microwave and was not fresh.

And the price… we ended up paying £44 for two, which given the quality of the food is definitely robbery. Melovesushi is not just Japanese fast food, but also Japanese bad food. Never again!!!!!
