melovesushi Take away

I've eaten a lot of sushi but this is the first time that I've ordered a takeaway sushi. The website was easy to use and it was ready on time when I went to pick it up. The miso soup was delicious, as was the sashimi selection, and the salmon roe was tasty. The fish seemed fresh. The only bit that I wasnt impressed by was the spicy tuna mixture which was very peculiar and seemed to have sweet chilli sauce in it. I'll definitely order from melovesushi again.

HUGELY DISAPPOINTED...I didn't end up trying the food but I thought I would share my experience and you can decide for yourself. The concept is great: Japanese food for Delivery or Take-away. They have a great website proclaiming "FREE DELIVERY" in BIG LETTERS....and after spending 15 minutes browsing through the menu I go ahead and make my order which totalled £10.50. I registered on the site, filled in all my details, went through the ordering process and the system happily gave me an order confirmation page for what I thought would be yummy food. Feeling happy that my dinner is on its way, I get a call from the Totteridge branch saying they don't deliver for anything less than £15. So I ask the nice lady why did the system let me go through the whole palava of ordering and sending me a confirmation page WITHOUT ONCE telling me of this this..and furthermore why was it advertised as FREE DELIVERY (and there was NO SMALL PRINT)....sadly I suggested something was wrong and they should rectify this immediately as otherwise it's FALSE ADVERTISING...by law they should oblige with my order but sadly the lady was having none of that so I ended up ordering pizza....
