I've eaten here many times - food always excellent, prices very reasonable. I always leave stuffed (too greedy). Best to mix and match starters I reckon - I'm veggie so not too many mains choices, but plenty of starters to share, don't really need a main. Good breads, hummus, falafel, aubergines (that's a veggie main as well as a green bean thing - both nice). Baklava type puddings. Bring your own as well so cheap night out with good food and wine. Service is relaxed and friendly - informal place with cooking in open plan area, but more comfortable than a cafe style place. Near Mile End station. Ariana over the road similar food (that's Iranian I think) also pretty good.

I go to the Orange Room quite often and I find the recent bad review hard to understand/believe. The staff are always very sweet, they come when you indicate that you are ready (maybe this is where the bad reviewer went wrong) and they do their best to accommodate whatever you want. They food here is VERY GOOD including lots of vegetarian options.
Yes, the new tidied up venue style isn't as charming as the previous bohemian mode but, really, this is very good Lebanese food in a nice setting.
