this place used to be great but let down by staff plus new guestlist policy for the main floor and unreasonable £15 door entry after 10pm on saturdays. management sort it out! Your staff were useless last night, it was raining we were asking if we could get in and the bouncer was waiting for the cashier to get in place and the lady running the door was clueless! Food was average at best but your really go to this place for the bar which is acutally very cool - sort out the staff please!

I went here with a group of girls for a bit of a catch up over a bottle of wine (or several). On arrival, we stood at the bar waiting to be served and were soon told to take a seat and a waiter would come to take our order. We ended up having to wait about 10 minutes until we finally were served. Having decided to pay for each round individually, the bill arrived for the first bottle with a 12.5% service charge wacked on the bottom. We were a bit taken aback considering the fact that up to that point we didn't feel we'd received anything near the kind of service that warrants this kind of charge, and we said as much to the waiter, asking him to remove it so that we could tip as we felt fit. The waiter then started arguing with us, saying that he can't remove it as it's part of the bill. One of my friends pointed out to him the small print on the menu that described the service charge as "discretionary", and the waiter then proceeded to argue with us that "discretionary" actually meant "compulsory"!! Needless to say for the rest of the night we insisted on going to the bar ourselves for our drinks.

Obviously I didn't try the food but from the 3 hours spent there I'd say this place may be an uber cool bar but the staff are rude and the drinks are overpriced.

I won't be returning in a hurry!
