Really excellent pub with restaurant. Food excellent and good value for the quality. Very impressive wine list. Staff friendly and efficient. Very lively venue with a good atmosphere. In my top 5 London eating places.

Over the past few years I have been to The Ship Inn in all weathers and seasons. This place constantly amazes me. What comes from the kitchen is ALWAYS good. Three of us went there a week ago and we all the stuffed smoked salmon with crab to start with (heavy on the crab). Then we had lamb shank, roasted sea bass and salmon - all equally superb.
For three people, two courses each and one bottle of wine = £85.00/£90.00 (or thereabouts).
Cannot wait for the summer when they open the barbeque!
Going again and again and again and again.
