Is this the worst restaurant in London? Surely it is...possibly even the UK!!!!!!!

I have lived all over the UK and travelled extensively to South America and I have never been anywhere where the service is remotely as bad as this or the food so poor.

I asked to see the chef...a paranoid, dichevelled looking chap came out and made us feel incredibly unwelcome and that the problem with the food was us (not him)!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never witten in one of these forums before but his attitude has prompted me to do so on this occasion, so that my advice not to go, reaches more than just my close friends.

this is by far one of the worst resturants i have ever been too. Way over priced for what its worth and service was very poor indeed.

We went on a thursday evening a few months back and it was completely dead - and 4 out of 5 times i walk by in the evening - its closed!

So make sure you phone them before hand (if you ever want to try it).

Quite shokced at how poor it was for an award winning restaurants!

this meal was really one of the worst I've ever eaten in london. Bread (especially recommended) was dry and reheated. We were told we should order 3 tapas per person which was far too much. No-one bothered to ask why the dishes were untouched. And what was depressing was how little care or love the food had been put together with. The order came suspiciously quickly and it wasn't cheap.

I dont understand how people can rate this restaurant as good. Maybe they hadn't eaten for days or were drunk before they arrived. After reading that it was such a good restaurant we decided to go for a family meal. I was quite embarassed that I had chosen this place. It had no atmosphere, inexperienced waiters and the menu seemed too interesting to be true. I think that if you want to be adventurous as a restaurant then what you do has to be fantastic, if not stick to what you know and do it well. Stick to serving good Brazillian/ South American food and don't have things on the menu that you can't deliver to a high standard. In other words don't run before you can walk?

This place is my local and as such I was sadly disappointed when the standard of the food started to slip following the onslaught of great reviews. However I gave it another go last week for a friend's birthday dinner, and am happy to say that it was delicious! The one weak point was my main course - the spicy sausages were not particularly spicy and tasted no better than Tesco's Finest. All the starters were delicious, and the chicken main course also. The chocolate chilli truffles should be served at room temperature and not chilled, as they were, as it was only after half an hour of sitting out that the chilli kick became noticeable. But overall, very tasty, relaxed cosy atmosphere, and fairly generous proportions for the price. I'll be back soon!

This is a great restaurant, tucked away in one of the less well known parts of London. We went on a Wednesday evening in October. Everything about the place was great. The food, the ambience, the staff. All provided a splendid evening. We took two small children and even though we had to wait for food they felt at home enough not to be a nuisance. Would certain go again
