Chiquito (Croydon)

The restaurant looked pretty good from outside, and the staff was friendly. They told us ahead of time that they had just renewed their menu and it was taking a little longer than usual for them to prepare the meals, which we were fine with.
It took them 20 minutes to come to our table and get our drinks order, even though the restaurant was 30% full.
My margarita was very weak, when I complained about it the waiter tasted it (with a straw) without asking my permission and told me that they measure the drinks and mine tasted right. When I asked if I could pay for an extra shot of tequila in my drink, he said that was not possible.
We ordered enchiladas, and they were just ok. Definitely not good enough to make me want to go back there. Also when my enchiladas came, I asked for a coke realizing that a margarita would take time to prepare and it would again be weak. They delivered my margarita after 10 minutes, by which time I was done with my meal.
Overall, it was not a good experience. It was also telling that while all the other restaurants in the block were full (Nando's had people waiting, and Frankie & Phyll's had almost all of their tables full), Chiquitos was 30% full. Not going back there.
