Nouvelle Spice

Having tried a few of the Indian establishments in South-East London I would definitely agree with the positive reviews here. It's a pleasant restaurant ('Roni' below - what on earth is your problem with a restaurant that is 'cafe-style' and that let's you bring your own drink?!?), with courteous unintrusive waiters a good selection of decently priced food. And it's takeways do travel well - something that many places fail on. All in all a favourite New Cross hang-out on a Saturday evening...

I've been there a couple of times. Always excellent service.
The food is delicious! It is not too spicy (unlike other Indian), well cooked and of decent size.
It is not overpriced (with 10 pounds you can have a starter and a main course + drink). At the end you even get an aftereight chocolate.
It is one of my favourite Indian restaurants.

I really enjoy eating here, the website is easy to use and order from and the food is large and superb. It really is worth the price in my opinion and I will be ordering one now.
Best Indian I know.

Probably the best indian in South East London. Food is absolutely superb. Great selection on the menu, portion are very large and well presented. Service is very friendly and welcoming. Best of all they allow B.Y.O.B.(bring your own bottle) great value for money.

This restaurant is not up to the mark. Food quality is not good, they are not Indian food. It is cafe style restaurant with no drinks available. I will never go into this restaurant any more.

This is a nice restaurant, the waiters were friendly and helpful, it’s a good addition to New Cross. The food is really fresh and tasty not over spiced or covered in sauces. I went with a few friends after work, it has a relaxed atmosphere. They don’t serve alcohol but then they don’t charge a corkage fee which is good. So remember to go to the offee before hand.

Being Indian we rarely eat out from indian restaurants, however having recieved their truely glamorous take away menu, it was certainly the best take away menu we'd ever seen and if these people put this much effort and thought into a door to door leaflet then their food is certainly worth trying.
So we decided to take the plunge and order out. We were toatally blown over by the taste of the food, their efficiency and delivery time. My wife wasn't too happy when i told here their lamb bhunas were out of this world, putting her family recipe to shame.
I have now ordered several times and will continue to do so. Thanks guys, oh and this is Raj, one of your regulars, so feel free to throw in a few extra popadoms next time i order.
Cheers.
