Piccolino Wimbledon

This is easily the worst meal I’ve had with regards to service. The venue was not busy, but the waiters were rarely to be seen. They seemed to spend most of their time away from the restaurant, smoking outside. Throughout the whole meal they popped up to take our order, bring our drinks and main course and collect the bill. When we tried to order another round of drinks we waited over 20 minutes for a waiter to appear, when he finally did he took the order for a second diet coke we waited sop long for it we'd already order the bill when we decided to cancel the order (that they'd probably forgotten about anyway!). The food was average, i ordered a spicy Italian sausage pizza which was no better than a Pizza Express meal and my friend order a grilled chicken pasta dish which was very rich, she did not finish it and is still feeling unwell a day later. I know 3 other people who have had meals here and have given very similar feedback. The surroundings however were really well presented and fresh, it’s a shame the service and food were not! I would not recommend this place to anyone.
