This restaurant is absolutely superb, the food - incredible and the prices very very reasonable! Would definately recommend it.
Only sour point was the service was a little off when we went there, didn't spoil the meal though.

Based on other reviews maybe I went at the wrong time. After sitting down to eat the place effectively turned into a mosque with loud, blaring Afghan television full of religious devotion. I ordered a single dish and got far more than I bargained for - the lamb was tender and delicious but too many bones. There was a large unexpected bowl of soup - too much for me to finish and salad on the side. They did not have tea on demand at the time so I had no drinks worth speaking of. Quantities seem generous, prices are certainly affordable but the atmosphere felt pretty spartan and religious. I would have preferred to have more attentive waiters and better descriptions of what I was supposed to get. Good if you're hungry but not so good for an overall dining experience. There were only so many prayers I could take.

We read the reviews for this restaurant in time out magazine & thought of trying it out. We found the food to be excellent. The food was so fresh & it tasted delicious. I especially enjoyed a dish called Mantoo & all the barbeque stuff was great. We would recommend this to all. The atmosphere is nice, ideal for couples & even for families. The service is pleasant & we were pleasantly surprised to see the owner of the restaurant taking time to assure that we were satisfied with the food and service. We now go there atleast once a month. The journey from surrey to Masa is long but well worth the drive

I was recommended here from a friend, I had the meal called MASA SPECIAL, which was so amazing in taste, rich and well presented, I could not choose from which side to start from as everything on the plate was looking good.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to EVERYONE!!!
The restaurant itself is really outstanding and looks expensive but once you try the food it just suits the atmosphere and the place itself. You need to try it to believe it.
RECOMMENDED TO ALL!!!

Masa is a nice restaurant, but i couldn't say this one night that I had taken my family once. The food was a little cold and dry. But this wasn't the case all the other times I had gone. But i would highly recommend the restaurant opposite called Kabul. Excellent food! Highly recommend it!

The food here is absolutely delicious, authentic and reasonably priced. Definitely worth the trip to the end of the Bakerloo line. Only thing to beware of: it's so filling you'll be full after about three mouthfuls!

I have eaten in Masa restaurant several times. The food is simply superb and they serve authentic Traditional Afghan food. The staff are exceptionally courteous and hard working. They have a fabulous menu and a great deal to choose from. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to try something unique as they are few Afghan restaurants that offer good tasty food for a good price!!!!!!!!!

I went here for my birthday. We got seekh kebabs, which were delicious. Everything else was really nice and fairly authentic. Didn't try the qabili rice, which would probably be the determining factor so I guess it'll just have to be an incentive to go back! The doogh was actually good, which impressed me as the doogh I've tried at other restaurants has almost always been horrible. The bourani (fried aubergine) was not particularly great but I guess I'm biased towards the home-cooked version! Apart from a little area at the back covered in Afghan carpets where you could sit on the floor and eat, the atmosphere wasn't particularly "Afghan" but that didn't bother me. The price was also really cheap which was a bonus. Only real drawback was its middle-of-nowhere-ness, but I'm still gonna go back!
