Polanka

I have taken my boyfriend to Polanka the other day and we both absolutely loved it. The place is a really friendly, local place that serves really traditional polish food from pierogi through soups...main courses and desserts. I know what I'm saying as I was brought up on polish food..so know exactly what it is about...simplicity, low prices:), friendly & homely atmosphere....they just miss beer! and an update on their website on what days they are open and close, since we tried to go there today again (Easter Monday) and it didn't say anything about the restaurant being closed today...unfortunately they were closed. Oh well, next time though!

i was reading your comment and it made me think..as i have been there more than five times over the past years and never even felt that i should complain.when it's busy,we always are warned that it will take time,so the starter and drinks are good to have and food is always good and service is good.it is a small place and not some five start restaurant that you need to be up-right with everything.

just a nice little warming place to be.

as i'm not very familiar with polish food,i must admit that i'm nicely surprised how good it is. and prices are so unbelievable low!
