The Spice Room @ IMADA

Looking at the other comments, I have to say i loved the food. It was a lot better than the other venues around this place. I had the chilli mogo, which i was highly reccomended on and which didnot dissapointment.

The management were really friendly and welcoming which i loved. The food was amazing and nothing was overpriced. The chef actually came out to see us which i found pleasing. Guess i learnt a few Spice Room secrets.

Overall i love this place as it was highly recomended to us. Will definitley visit it again and bring more friends.

Friends took us to this restaurant for dinner on a Saturday. Very busy with lots of Indian customers. Being an Indian myself, I saw this as a good sign and was looking forward to good food. I was quite disappointed with the food, although the ambience and presentation of food were very good. I had bhalla papri chaat for starter and king prawn masala for main course. The starter was covered in too much sweet dressing (tamarind, mint and yoghurt) to taste anything else. The main course again, was very one-dimensional and had a distinct sweet taste. When I told the owner about the starter, she retorted by saying that I should have asked for no dressing. I explained that this is the first time and I didn't know what to expect. I felt that she more defensive about the food rather than trying to take in my feedback. The service could be a lot better too, especially, if they didn't bombard us every 5 minutes to serve more drinks. We know that there is good margin in selling drinks at restaurants, but, they need to balance it with leaving the customer alone sometimes. I will probably go there once more to try different food, before deciding to avoid it for good.

This is some of the best Indian food to be found around North-West London. The decor is modern and not at all suburban.

I love it and have recommended many others to try it.

I return again and again.

The management are friendly and the diners are treated as friends and it is lovely.

Good value for money.

Can be noisy on Fridays and Saturdays as wedding parties are often in full swing!!

Don't tell too many people as it may just become too popular.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!!!

Right from the moment my Husband and I walked in, we were warmly welcomed by one of the managment team and lead into the Spice Room restaurant. It was so beautiful with lit candles.

The Food was delicious. We ordered the chilli paneer, mogo, which i have to say it's better than the other indian restaurants. For our mains we ordered a chicken dish and my partner had a lamb dish. It was soooo good, and halfway through our meal, the manager came to see us, which i thought was really nice. We had a friendly chat with her, which was a nice change from other restaurants that we have been to.

I am definitely coming back with some friends later this month.

It's a thumbs up from us!!!!!
