We went for our anniversary and were very impressed with the food and service. Prompt seating and attentive staff. Excellent wine recommendation and the food sharing style was great fun - esp with the delicious creme brulee. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a great night out as a couple or with a group of friends.

9 of us went and we took to the sharing idea. I probably tried about 1/3 of the menu last night, and everything was delicious. I've never had a nicoise salade even close to being that good. The blackleg chicken was indeed very good, but my highlights were the sea bream and the veal. Staff were always there when we needed them and were just friendly enough. Will be going back. Soon, I hope!

After reading an amazing review on this place my man and i decided to go, it was very busy (just opened) so we had to wait a week for a table BUT the wait was definatly worth it. The staff were friendly yet professional and we were seated at a great table, (THE best said the staff! Great for people watching!)

We ordered the Roast chicken with the foie gras as we had read so highly about it, it takes one hour to cook so we ordered that even before the wine (as instructed by the critic in the review!)

The table was set lovely, with tomatoes and a bottle of delicious olve oil on it, fresh and tasty! We werent sure how many starters to order as we were told that they bring the food on the basis people share so we asked for advice, the waiter suggested at least three so we went for the tuna niciouse salad which was the best we had ever tried, very flavoursome and fresh. Another dish we ordered was the aubergine cheese and prawn dish! not something i would think of throwing together myself in the kitchen but it was delicious! you really should try it! also the lobster and crab cocktail which was much like a ceviche, nice tasty but not the favoured of the three. All in all we left quite a lot of our starters so would definatly only have two next time.

Then what we had been waiting for...... The black leg chicken with foie gras roasted on top of a huge crouton which had soaked up the flavours and was so tasty my mouth is watering now as i type this! Mmmmm! Not for those on i diet for sure! (Aduki bean stew for me the next day! not quite so nice trust me)

There was lots of succulent chicken with loads of FLAVOUR, it really does bring a whole new dimension to roast chicken and my attempts on a sunday with my wrinkled up chicken will attract sighs of disappointment for months to come.

Being a big fan of Italian clean flavours and Japanese lightness, this restaurant is a fantastic addition to the London restaurant scene. Going there to see what has replaced once beloved Tecca, we found no faults on deliciously flavoured scallop carpaccio, crab and lobster salade, yummi pasta with summer truffel (a must if you are missing the white Alba ones) and sea bass baked in salt. All accompagnied by a well chosen (by the sommelier) Southern French (well it is Nicicoise kitchen) red not emptying your valet. Only complaint would be that French waiters are not naturally very friendly.

I was taken to this restaurant last night to celebrate my birthday. I was not at all disappointed.

On walking in we were warmly greeted. The restaurant decor is very light, bright and airy which makes for a very welcoming and homely atmosphere.

The service was friendly and of a high standard.

The food was superb. The various starters that we had (the broad beans and pecorino, the aubergines) were out of this world and delicious and teh scrambled eggs and truffles and sea bass were also of a very high standard.

The cherry on the cake was the Tarte Tatin at the end. One of the best desserts i have ever had. delicieuse!

And all at a very reasonable London price. We would most certainly go back and would definitely recommend.

A very welcoming atmosphere in this southern mediterranean French restaurant.Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.Cuisine from the Nice region of France is actually very similar to that of the Italian Ligurian coast, and light,as it is based on fresh ingredients rather than the heavily sauced cuisine of the rest of France.Terrific starters(at least 20 to choose from) .We had outstanding tuna carpaccio;lightly fried zucchini flowers;petits farcie (vegetables stuffed with a ground veal mixture);tiny fried calamaretti. All were delicious and served impeccably.Main courses were strong on fish -with whole sea bream;bass etc served steamed/roasted with lemon and olive oil.Again cooked perfectly and very digestible. There are some meat courses which we did not try-another time perhaps.Very good selection of wine by the glass.Wonderful bread served as often as you wish.It ddn't bother me in the slightest that this was placed on the table.Given the many dishes being brought to the table, there is frankly no room for a bread dish, which is a bit of an affectation in any event.Desserts were light-wonderful orange sorbet with a drizzle of grand marnier was our choice. As for the lack of cheese-there is no cheese course in the med as it is too hot.Besides cheese is heavy and loaded with cholesterol. This would not be in keeping with the light riviera style cuisine on offer.

I went there a couple of days ago and had a very good time. I would not recommend this place for a date, but for a friends "get together" it is really good.

The service was good and very attentive. All food we had, apart from octopus, was excellent. I would definitely recommend their sea bass with giroles and creme brule. The latter was probably the best I had in London.

The restaurant turned out to be cheaper than I expected which was a nice surprise. And for the celebrity fans out there, Max Clifford was at the table next to us.

I would definitely go back.

A fantastic, vibrant atmosphere with superb freshly prepared and seasoned food served on small platters for the table to share. The only niggles I have concern the service. The restaurant was only open for 2 weeks at time of going so that may account for this. Curiously there are no side plates for bread and it is placed directly onto the centre of the linen tablecloth. There is bottle of olive oil on the table (for the bread) so if you want to eat your bread with the oil then you must use the plate provided for the shared starters. The white wine recommended for the starters arrived 10 minutes before the food and had started to warm up. When food is brought to the table you don't get a description and there are no cheeses on the dessert menu which, being a French restaurant, suprised me. Overall I would recomend this restaurant and would go again.
