Quite possibly the WORST SERVICE I have EVER recieved.

My family and I went to the restaraunt on Saturday 14th May for my birthday meal. On arrival it looked pleasant however after we were seated we waited for 30 minutes and no waiter arrived. I had to go to the bar and ask them to take our orders. The waiter came over and by this time the VERY LOUD music had started.

The waiter said we should order our drinks, starters and main meal together. There were six of us and we gave him our orders. The waiter did not write the orders down and I asked him whether he was going to remember them all. Very arrogantly, he said yes he would remember all the orders.

Around 30 minutes later our food arrived but he only bought 4 of the 6 main meals that we asked for. We asked where the other two meals were and he said that we only ordered 4 meals. I could not believe how rude and arrogant he was. I complained to the manager who was also very rude and unapologetic. As I was speaking to the manager the waiter came over and said it wasn't his fault, shurugged his shoulders and said "so what do you want me to do about it". I was so angry and shocked at this unbelievably poor level of service. We eventually got our other two meals about 30minutes later. There was no apology by the waiter or manager.

I would advise you too never experience this restaraunt, the service and attitude of the waiter was absolutely disgraceful. They completely ruined my birthday meal and I would never go back there again, even if they paid me for the inconvenience!

Nice Food, shame about the extremely rude waiter!!!

Went to Maroush 1 on Saturday Night with two friends. We were ushered into the main restaurant downstairs where there was live music and dancing. We were left to choose our own table and were then promptly told to move tables by an extremely rude waiter.

Upon moving tables we had to wait 15 minutes to be served and were told that we could not order mezze and then order main dishes later we could either order main dishes with the mezze or nothing. The food came and it was really good and the portion size was decent but the attitude of the waiter was astonishing! We had to ask for napkins and bread and he looked as though we were just a total inconvenience to him (unlike another table sitting next to us that he was fawning over) We agreed to pay the random £9.00 cover charge and didn't moan that we were over charged on the wine but did not pay service. Upon complaining to the management upstairs the waiter came up the stairs (clearly aggrieved at not receiving any service charge from us) and started claiming that we were drunk!!! We were offered 50% off for our next visit but none of use will ever go back!

I have to confess that I am bemused as to why this restaurant get good reviews. I have been here twice and I can honestly say the food is not great. It is edible, it is just bland and dull.

The service is good, however.

I paid 50 for starter , main dish and sweet +Fruit + coffee + soft drinks

well the Starter was flafal ,humos , salad , tabolh , mtbal and some meat cut small piecs . as that starter worth the 50 and the food is best test i had in London so far.
