Nice dim sum but I wonder whether they charged me for vinegar and chilli ! I know that 10% service charged is added to the bill. But still, the total bill is higher than it should be!

Confidence high; loads of Chinese diners. Excellent no nonsense Dim Sum, no fusion rubbish. The Char Siu Puffs and Prawn Dumplings with Salad Cream are to die for. I thought the Fish Maw and Prawn Dumplings were exalted but my daughter thought otherwise.

We went to Harbour city for Chinese new year weekend. The food was nice and very typical of a chinese restaurant. We were served very promptly but we didnt arrive whilst 10pm, so don't know what it would be like earlier.
The staff were polite and always on hand, as I was abit worried of this as I had read lots of bad reviews regarding this in China Town.
We ordered set menu which was really nice. Mixed starters, duck and then 4 dishes and fried rice. This was £15 each, which was good value. They also had a good wine list which wasn't over priced.
The decor wasn't fantastic but I've seen worse. In China Town you seem to be paying for quality of food and not quality of restaurant. I would go back, but there are so many other restaurants that I would like to try aswell.

Have been coming to this restaurant for about 13 years with my mother since she works there (Eating regularly in the restaurant that you work in can only be a good thing lol)
I'd also like to point out that this review is not biased in any way at all.
The quality of food differs depending on the type of dish you order (Dim sum is highly reccomended and is the best around in my opinion).
My personal reccomendations would be Scallops or Honey Roasted (I think its called) version of Char siu with stir fried noodles along with about 5 portions of Dim Sum (will serve 3 people that aren't very big eaters)
Dim Sum reccomendations:
Egg tarts (if you have children with you, they'll love it)
Har Gow (steamed shrimp dumpling, eaten with soy sauce)
Siu Mai (steamed pork and shrimp dumplings)
Shrimp cake
Ha Cheong (Rice noodle rolls with shrimp)
Deep fried prawn dumplings with salad cream as a dip (there's also another one with a different wrapping, the kind of wrapping found in spring rolls & with a red sauce, but I don't know what it's called)
Donut rice crepes (rice roll on the outside with chinese deep fried bread on the inside)
-----------------------------------
The more exotic Dim Sum include:
Crispy fried squid
Boneless chicken feet (served cold & light red in colour)
-----------------------------------
If you're feeling rich then try these:
Steam scallops with vermicelli and garlic (with soy sauce)
Shredded Duck Wrap/Pancake with cucumber, hoisin sauce

The best Chinese in London. Trust me. The restaurant was recommended by my Hong Kong Chinese friend 8 years ago. My husband and I have been going there regularly ever since. The service is much better than average Chinese. Staff are very friendly and polite. The quality of food is excellent, not oily as other Chinese. I love their dim sum most. Their dim sum is better than Hakkasan or Yaucha.

Greasy food which was a real disappointment. "Fillet Steak" was bad beef and so we sent it back which they were very good about. Ordered chicken instead but that was processed and rubbery and also terrible. Nice prawns but gloopy sauce. Noodles were incredibly greasy and so was the fried rice.
Cheeky int hat they never list all the costs on the bill but worse of all the service charge is not clearly listed so be warned!

Typical China Town Chinese. Gloopy and bland with so much MSG I didn't sleep after going there. Would never go back again. One plus was the excellent service though.

My wife and me had a great and authentic chinese dim sum for lunch in september 2006 at this friendly and comfortable (comapred with other chinese venues) restaurant, which catered for many chinese.
Turnip paste cake (2 pounds, 8/10 points), Shark fin dumplings (2 pound, 7/10), duck noodle soup (5 pounds, 8/10) and especially the 'Deep fried prawn dumplings' (2.80 pounds, 9/10) were crispy and delicious, one of the best dishes in london's chinatown!
