This place seems to have a cult reputation in SW London parts, but I'm not entirely sure why. The food's decent by 'contemporary Indian' (as opposed to traditional curry house) standards but nothing they don't do cheaper or more tastily at nearby Hot Stuff. The staff are very courteous in that rather obsequious subcontinental way but the decor is strange and the whole place is often half-empty, perhaps due to its location on a rather unlovely stretch of Wandsworth Road. Definitely one for home delivery but not sure I'd go back for sit-down meals in future.

Been here for the second time now. Food simply delicious. You can tell it's made with fresh ingredients. Generous portions and impeccable service. We went there with our two years old son and both the staff and the owner have been particularly kind towords us. It's never too busy, which is a shame considered the top quality, but I guess location doesn't help! Prices are slightly higher than your "local curry house" but it is definitely worth it! We'll go back for sure and try to recommend it as much as we can.

Have been to Cafe Zia about 3 or 4 times. I think that it is the best curry in terms of food in the area- I have tried several. It is in a slighty odd location (I don't suppose they get many walk-ins) but that should not detract from the food, service and atmosphere.
It is very highly recommended and if I want a curry (both to eat in or delivery) this is where I'll go. I am sure that once you do try it, you will keep their menu for the future.

An excellent resonably priced Indian, that offers a concise menu rather than the usual Brick Lane eatery. Cafe Zia deserves to be full every night, it's position at the end of the Lavender HIll strip is perhaps a little too distant for anyone other than locals, but it's worth making the trek.
The staff are friendly, the service is impeccable (although I dont know why they remove the top table cloth at the end of the main course). The food is excellent.
Would highly recommend the lamb shank. Order the onion bhajis for presentation alone - although they are delicious.
